That's tempting... Xanos and I have talked about meeting in Chicago, I'd love to take a train over.

But... at least for the Nov. meet, Comet is coming to Traverse City for a work convention, so he's asked me to meet him.

I'm guessing the convention is at the Grand Traverse Resort, they have a casual burger/pizza restaurant on the main level I'm suggesting we meet there.

Still waiting to finalize things with work. Everything is up in the air as it often is........ The only thing that changes is EVERYTHING changes haha

It's funny how a body of water makes a difference in travel time. TC is less than two hours from me as the crow flies. But due to Lake Michigan being in the middle, I'd have to drive five and a half hours, first up through the U.P., then across the Big Mac bridge, then to TC.

I remember that with TC so close to me and yet so far, I used to be able to point an outdoor TV antenna in that direction and catch the TC area TV stations

Maybe next time I go to that area, I'll look you up All depends on where the high school bowling team that I coach go for the regionals. A few years, they went to TC. Then the last few years they were either in Cheboygan or Gaylord. No idea where the regionals are this year. I'll know next month.
