It is a war game. Why have an enforced Truce?
Then in the last decade or so, players get bent out of shape if people Megacorp (99.9% unprovable, unless the perps are idiots)? Then there are some that believe that attack delays, planet movement delays, and, other delays that hinder offensive script play are any less useless than truce games. Very few use these settings, but compared to truce games, I don't have to baby-sit players and reinstate assets or ban offenders. There are a great many different games to choose from, play the ones with the edits you prefer and stop putting those of us down to offer an alternative for players who enjoy a "slower" game. Not everyone enjoys your style game D, and now players have more choices.

There are a few games to choose from and all of them have noob settings and delays that are flat out rediculous. I put you down? Being that I didn't mention any names, how could I have been putting you down? A phrase comes to mind, "If the shoe fits wear it." Not everyone enjoys my style of game, but almost everyone enjoys good competition and they won't find it on "your" server. Now I mentioned a name. YOU!!!

I actually like the fact that you got your mutual digs in, and stillmentioned the topic of the thread you're hijacking! I used to play truces, but as I remember, the thing to do was to get some guys to come in and cash or colo for you during truce, then quickly belly up and give you a huge advantage. Sneaky, and still ' truce legal.'

Sneaky, and still ' truce legal.' Exactly. Those who don't understand this will always think they have the freedom to build and colo in peace. Truce games are the worse for those who really think they are safe being sloppy. Since my return, I've seen more players building in that one deep next to Fed space more times than I can shake a stick at! Why would anyone ever thinks this is a good idea?

and makes for easy colo'ing She'd go to bed and forget to move them on the last night before extern. Sort of like when she is the fed safe blue in a tournament and isn't around to retrieve her reds after they get towed at extern. We've gotten thier entire bank a couple of times because of actions like this. LAFF

and makes for easy colo'ing I don't play truce games. I see this happening in all sorts of games on different servers. Not just moving in a mobile planet to colo, but building next to fed. It's just very odd.

Re: Sage - Got a question for you
I think the original question was something about why noobers should only play building games.
