I picked out three of my favorite memories:

1) At my local dial-up BBS about 15 years ago, I was battling with a R/L friend of mine. It was near game's end and he pretty much had the game won. The only thing that kept us in the game was that we still had several upgraded ports for our money making. So he proceeded to search for and blow several of those ports. I came online just as he was doing it.

He was talking smack about that and then he said he was playing from work. Then he said he had a customer and said he would be right back. I then read the logs and probed the areas of the last port he blew and I found his edited CFS, which is edited basically as a stock ISS. So I took my edited ISS (2:1 odds with 65K figs) and quickly jumped to a nearby fig. I probed him again. He did not move. He also didn't also didn't have any teammates online but neither did I. So I took the chance to hit him one on one. I quickly moved into the sector. It was a 6 warp sector and with no surround script available to me at the time, I had no time to surround him and I had no idea when he'd be back from helping the customer so I quickly launched a ship capture script and capped his CFS and watched the pod fly away. I towed the CFS to SD to scrub it of limps then took it home as a trophy. LOL. We had a good laugh about that the next time I saw him R/L.

2) Then another time I was playing a game for shits and giggles at the Home Sector (Eleq's old server). By dumb luck, I came across Bad Girl running an SST. She didn't appear to have any blue support with her so i podded her. The funny part was this - Bad Girl sent me an ICQ message saying "Nice pod. That's what I get for having my attention on another window on my computer." We had a good laugh about that too.

3) Then I was playing in a Big Game. I think I was playing with Blue Adept. I don't remember who my other corpies were. So they were invading the other corp in the game. I came online and asked what was going on. They asked me to help with the invasion. So I warped there. All kinds of chaos was going on. Suddenly I saw Res Judicata, a member of the enemy corp, being evicted from the invaded planet below. Someone said "Kill Res, Timber!" So I did. Res was online but not at keys. Just pure dumb luck which made for a funny situation how I got Res. He whined about it at first, but got over it. I had fun playing that Big Game. It was the first and only time I played a game where there were just two large teams against each other.

For me it has to be playing the Call To Battle edit on alienbase. There were alot of players who came and went in that game over the years, and alot of good games.

I dont think I could pick just one.

Alienbase CTB my favorite also. Greatly enjoyed fighting you there over the years and towards the end, corping with you.
