Its still a server for n00bs and retreads, a good place to learn or knock the rust off. And a really good place to test scripts.... I recommend it for v1. For v2 I recommend micro or mustang bbs.

Just remember that there are a lot of peeps playing multiple games at the same time. Its not as if everyone is only there on a single node.

It seems that almost all of the games you listed are unlimited turns. You won't find much decent competition in those games. I'm in 1 game there, game S. I believe that's the game you avoided.

Cant be too tough, Game B was locked down 1 day after the truce ended, is 5k turns per day. Easiest game I had in the last 4 months. v1 is easy to lock down, v2 not so easy since the aliens rampage through the amtrak on a regular basis. Feel free to show up for the next solo 5k turn game at the start. I am looking forward to it.

The 4 day truce creates the lack of competition, not the number of turns per day.
1. You dont have to be at the bang to get a start
2. You have 4 days (or whatever) to not worry about fig hits or limp hits.
3. Many just play the truce part and die almost immediately once it ends cause they got no idea how to play outside the truce environment.

The decent players either don't play the truce games or they wait until the truce is over before they start. I started game S on day 3 and still was able to do just fine. I think you came in on day 6 and ran off. I was giving everyone a day or two to get started so even a less experienced player like you would have been able to get a decent start. Maybe I'll get Sage to bang the 2013 ICE edit without a truce soon. You'll find an edit like that will attract more competition than you really want.

Still can't find any corpies that will play with you eh? Understandable. It's a good thing there's a lot of solo unlimited turn games out there for you and the other noobs.

Its okay D, not everyone can play solo. Stick with what you know, thats what I say.
