In this case, a more likely cause would be aborted displays. Not sure if SWATH's World Trade checks/sets CN9 settings or not, but try to first set the CN9 setting to SPACE (rather than ALL). Additionally, I believe you'll have better results using TWX's World Trade script.
Regards, +EP+ I'll try the CN9, thanks. As for TWX, I've not had too much luck with it on my machine...not sure if it is incompatible with Win7x64 or if I am just a complete moron...or a combination of both...

Unfortunately, CN9 was already set to SPACE

No, you're not a complete moron, it can be that complicated. I'm running Win7x64 - hex core w/8Gb Ram (Too fast sometimes!) I use TWX 2.05 and Swath 1.98 And there are times when things go funky that no one can explain why. So, we shut down the computer, do a restart and hope all the ducks line up in a row again. Hehe...

I'm running Win7x64 - hex core w/8Gb Ram (Too fast sometimes!) Not to fast, just poorly wrote scripts. But I guess if you keep saying it, that someday it might be true. TWX only uses 1 core, so no matter how many you have it still only uses 1. Might have the wrong version of 2.05, there are way to many floating around and they are all using 2.05. Needs a (a-z) type identifier added. If you load TWX make sure if you got it from someone else, delete the TWXSetup.dat file or it will cause a ton of issues....mainly it will crash all the time.

And this is where it gets messy. People just returning and trying to learn don't know "which" is "which". If 2.05 is a "version" when why did you say we may have the wrong version of 2.05? I've ran scripts from very reliable authors that don't work correctly for me. I was running a planet trading script this weekend that ran too fast and messed up the Swath visual map. After a restart all is fine again. Bottom Line - TWX is NOT a commercial product, it's free for all enthusiasts to use. Not everyone writing scripts is a programmer, but many are players who took an interest and are self taught.

Here is the one that Sing has posted on Navhaz and I am using it in WinXPsp3 Pro, Win7x64 Pro and Win7x86 Pro. Except for throwing an application error after prolonged use and losing the listening port after clearing and creating a new db, its great. http://navhaz.com/files/twxproxy-205.exeThis does need any current TWXSetup.dat deleted and created (automatically) on the first run. Cruncher wrote: If 2.05 is a "version" when why did you say we may have the wrong version of 2.05? Re-read what I typed the answer is right there...during devlopment there were many TWX 2.05's floating around...but they were never released 2.05a or b...... Plus ask the author the question, I didn't write it. Cruncher wrote: I've ran scripts from very reliable authors that don't work correctly for me. You mixing items AGAIN, Swath has it's own issues and could be on a seperate processor, and does not always buffer information correctly. I was only talking about TWX. Cruncher wrote: Not everyone writing scripts is a programmer, but many are players who took an interest and are self taught. We all have the same tools, if you have the time to play then you have the time to write a few simple scripts. The game is more involved than just logging in running a script and compiling a list of complaints.

Cruncher wrote: If 2.05 is a "version" when why did you say we may have the wrong version of 2.05? The reason there are so many versions out of 2.05 alpha is that EP provided a way for everyone to be able to compile a v2.05 exe of their own so they didnt have to wait on him to comple a release of this alpha version. Just install the software, connect the syn server, compile an exe. The reason we are using 2.05 alpha is because of windows 7. The control used for the v2.04 system tray icon crashes TWX in windows 7. So EP updated the control for 2.05 alpha so it wouldnt crash under windows 7. It also happens to work in windowsxp To sum up, there are versions of twx 2.05 alpha available without the updated control (I have one that I compiled and it doesn't work with windows 7) and versions of twx 2.05 alpha with the updated control (Sing's copy from the navhaz link above, has the control and works in windows 7) H

Re: Swath - World Trade Script
Thanks for the info Helix...I've obtained the 2.0.5 source, fixed the ambiguous overloads for StrLen, and compiled my own version (2.0.5.1) that I will try tonight, hopefully. Now that I have successfully set it up to compile (tried doing that with 2.0.3 source before I read your post...ugh, epic fail), hopefully I can learn some Delphi syntax and see what kind of havoc (no offense to Havoc), I can cause to maybe do some improvements

Can scripts still be uploaded to NavHaz? Can the latest and greatest TWX 2.05 be uploaded with the TWXSetup.dat removed? My goal is to help make this process as easy as possible for the average player to not get so frustrated trying to learn scripted play.

My goal is to help make this process as easy as possible for the average player to not get so frustrated trying to learn scripted play. You have got to learn to read. Then you have got to learn to try. Click the Darn link, rename the exe then test the Darn thing. The average player is not stupid, so stop pretending like they need saving. If you were a model of the average player then they aint stupid, just lazy. H PS: I know you just can't be bothered to search for info http://helixtw.podzone.org/files/tw.zipTWX v2.05/Mombot v3.1041 All the script packs viewtopic.php?f=15&t=32727

I also probably would have stopped playing the game a long time ago. I have no desire in cluttering my computer with compilers to play games, and I have no clue as to what one has to do to compile TWX.
