And just to keep this on topic. I don't think Corp 5 is using any sort of monitoring script. Kav & I just played our turns and no one popped in suddenly. Are they squatting... yes, but manually squatting. I believe they are coming to the screen when it's convenient to look to see if anyone is logged on and maybe to check the high scores list then.

This was probably just a coincidence that they and T0yman played the same time of day. Not unusual, most people play in the evenings. And I think I know who they are, I’ve played them before and yes they have killer ping. One of them lives in Canada, not far from Port Huron, which is very near Lansing.

But last night I got nailed by the one who has the slowest ping, because I killed their fig manually. LOL... mistake on my part... or was it? I love the pods I this game. Had to get me one, so I did get podded by the least experienced killer of them on purpose, or her adrenaline rush got the better of her and she forgot to surround my ship before the kill.

Either way, all is good... let the game continue!

Fine you caught me...I'm in the game... I'll give everyone my secret monitoring script but dont tell anyone....I play on a laptop that sits on the arm rest of my chair and as i watch TV...(now here's our secret... dont tell) I hit the # every few minutes...shhhh... and when someone enters so do I... Quite the script...and I use high scores as well...but thats between us at EIS....

This looks close to finished.

This tournament has been very useful in identifying some big-time bugs, and I'll be releasing a new update here very soon. Hopefully we can get another tourney going soon on one of the TWGS v2 servers. Nothing beats it for unearthing those bugs.

I'll be posting soon, but BOTE will be running here soon. Practice games will be up likely soon, and the tournament will start 12/1.
The edit is up to team Kraaken, and they've already requested to host on V1.03. As it's their choice for the game I will honor that request so those of you wishing to participate, dust of your older scripts, and start thinking about teams. I'll start an official BOTE thread here in the forums.

I believe there will be the ICE tournament in January as well.

My 2.13 server is still up and running, and if any of you want a certain edit feel free to request.
