I don't understand. I can't "get away" if I have no turns and can't move. I was referring to this: Promethius wrote: You might get lucky with a flood attack against some players. So you are saying that you can flood the other player with attacks BEFORE they fire the photon?

Re: Is there a defense against Photons?
If you fire a photon before a player enteres a sector, will they still be effected if the wave hasn't disapated yet?

Re: Is there a defense against Photons?
You used to be able to, the new settings don't actually flood the data anymore. So flooding someone would be difficult unless they are inexperienced, but with mombot it is a simple key combo to holo fire a torp to the adjacent sector. If there is a delay on the firing of a foton vs it going off you could just hit the retreat to last sector key. You could run a simple script to trigger off the foton fired message and let it run in the background to get you to safety. Just a few options.

It only affects the ones in sector when it goes off, not if you enter during the remainder duration. Since you enter the sector during the duration to invade a planet. cpy1234*qm1234**l4* fires foton in 1234 / moves to 1234 / lands on planet 4 <- You move during duration.

I was also thinking that a surround would also give you a bit of warning. Is there a double surround script?

Ah ok, now I see what your asking. No I have never seen such a script. Probably would not be hard, but it could use a lot of turns.

Re: Is there a defense against Photons?
Ideally, it should plot the shortest path to reach all the sectors, but yeah it could burn a lot of turns.
