what causes my screen to lag when doing a large fig refresh?

starts off quick.. to lags.. numbers start scrolling slower..etc

sometimes speeds up.. then down again.
and sometimes just jumps to the end.

And.. is there a way to get a fig list without displaying every figged sector on screen?

Hey- number of things can cause it.
Your helper is your most likely suspect.

Run the same fig refresh using Zoc, Kevterm, or plain old win telnet. Odds are SWATH is whats causing it. If your running SWATH under Linux/Wine it can really lag to the point of unusable.
