 the Fastest macro Ever
Im looking for versions of the best macro to get in a sector, killing a fig and then back out of the sector.
Doesnt even have to lay a fig.
Along with some form of timer to let me know how many milliseconds it takes.
any takers?

just one fig? m1234*za9*< of course this assumes you don't have really terrible offensive odds. i haven't played in a while, so i'd love to see a faster macro. i suppose transporting out would be faster if that meets your needs.

Nope, transporting out requires extra commands, would be slower. i'd say what you posted is about as fast as it's gonna get.

 Re: the Fastest macro Ever
how can we time how many msec's it takes for an xport vs a "<" or a "m"

 Re: the Fastest macro Ever
I know at one time JP put a listing on the forum of all the timing settings. Would have to look, that was a few months ago. I found them. http://www.classictw.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=32089&hilit=timingJohn Pritchett wrote: It's been awhile since I presented these, so I might as well do it again. Here are the current pacing delays:
ShipMove/attack = 20 ms EProbe = 20ms Photon = 15ms PlanWarp = 20ms LandTakeoff = 6ms DockDepart = 12ms ShipXport = 10 ms PlanXport = 10ms KillFig = 15ms DropTakeFigs = 15ms DropTakeMines = 15ms Crime = 20ms GenTorp = 5ms
CoursePlot = 40ms (from computer, CIM and autopilot) DensityScan = 20ms SetAvoid = 20ms CorpXfers = 20ms PortReport = 20ms LaunchBeacon = 20ms Showroom = 20ms ShowPlanet = 20ms Move/TakePlanProd/Cols = 10ms CitadelOption = 10ms UserStats (I) = 10ms WhosPlaying = 5ms FigListLine = 2ms MineListLine = 2ms PlanListLine = 2ms RankingsLine = 2ms ShowTime = 2ms
There are others, but these are the ones that are most relevant, and many of these are not very relevant. Just wanted to give a full accounting.

 Re: the Fastest macro Ever
Those are non-configuable pacing settings. There is also a configurable "Ship Transport" setting in the delay settings.
