 Monitor who's online?
I'm involved in my first game since coming back. I've already filled a whole page of my notebook with a list of scripts and tools I need to find or write. Right now I'm sitting here waiting for my nemesis to log off so I can decloak and move around. I'm wishing I had a standalone app to alert me when he logs off. A few questions... First, does this exist? I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Second, this would take up a node on the TWGS, right? I don't want it to be obtrusive, so I would probably have it quickly log in and out every few minutes rather than continuously monitor.

I have a script at home that you can modify that would do that - it currently just looks to see if a person is online and sends an alarm - it will be a few hours before I can post it if you want it.

Like i care lol, that isn't what goes in my pipe.... Since it is a simple script, you can probably trust LS's to work. :p

I'm not looking for a script that runs in a helper. I'm thinking of an app that would sit in my system tray and let me know when it's safe to log in.

Lol. I'm sitting under a full moon at the moment, beside a camp fire with a beer from Alberta (big rock). Browsing the forums, waiting for the fire to die down.
Burrrp... What the hell was the point of this msg... Ahh crap... Time for another beer.
Cheers!

Cheers! Now I know where my beer went. And why was I not invited?

 Re: Monitor who's online?
Are you sure you don't have that backwards? A global recession sounds like the perfect excuse for a fishing trip.
