I see that two threads were locked because of an issue between player and sysOp. Funny to me that threads get locked and it seems to do more harm than good in some instances. Disagreement will sometimes get heated, but really no reason to lock a topic. As for take it to PM - that is no more effective than FedCom...

The more I see, the more I agree with Big D on the issues.

BTW, I am currently listed as a "moderator", but that is no longer accurate. I requested that I no longer have that "title" several months ago.

As you know I've been away from this game for a short time, and with issues like this it is no surprise to me that this website is nothing but a shadow of it's former self.

I cannot say that I was ever a Big D fan, but I will say he should not have been treated the way he was.

I better hit submit before this thread gets locked too.

We do need to becareful on topic locks. We will never know if the issue got resolved or figured out if we lock it. Leaving a topic open until it gets extremely personal or turns into name calling or "SMACK" should be our main focus. If the post is to point out possible cheating on a server it needs to be brought up in an open ended type of way so it is not accusing anyone of anything openly which can be personal if there is another explanation. As Prom and JP showed us you can have a heated debate, and not cross any lines. Everyone should be treated fairly, Admin, Mod, Sysop, Players...no one should have a free pass to do what they want!

If it came down to it, I would have to edit JP's post and finally press my warn button..
