I've interfaced TWXProxy v 203 with Swath 1.9.8 and it seems to be working and launching the TWX scripts.

I've noticed a problem with at least two of the provided scripts:

2_WorldTrade and 2_WorldSSM. With both I have changed the setting for dropping toll fighters to OFF, but the script still will drop a toll fighter in each sector. I have checked the .cfg file for the game and it shows that that variable has been set to 0. Also the next time I start the script it defaults to off, but still will drop fighters.

This probably is also related, when i reset the min % for PPT in worldtrade to 50%, it will still trade down to 20% (the original settings)

It appears that it still sticks with the default settings for running these scripts.

I do have "helper" mode in Swath turned OFF when I am using TWX, so I wouldn't think it is setting in Swath.

Any suggestions?

First I would upgrade to either 2.04 or 2.05 on TWX.

The toll fighters are also set under navigation settings in world trade - Extra commands - default is f1*ct -- change that to f1*cd

I do have the newer versions which I am going to go ahead install. I saw in another post where that should take care of the issues I have on my Windows 7 PC.

I noticed that the scripts in question were the same that is why I didn't think it was a version issue. I will go ahead and try the new settings and the latest versions and see how it works out.

You can also modify the settings fairly easy in the scripts to default the way you want. I have modded my version as have probably most others.

As I thought when I read your suggested change that drops a defensive fighter instead of a toll fighter. Since I don't want to drop any I just deleted the extra commands.

Thanks for the help. Once I study the provided scripts and get the feeling for how things work, I hope to try my hand and some of my own. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions.
