v2.06 is a small update, but the main bug fix is critical enough that I wanted to go ahead and release. I fixed a bug that has been causing ping times to vary significantly from the editor Ping emulation setting. This bug has made the game unplayable on some servers for some players, and had a negative impact on balance for others.

Actually JP you have done a very good job from what I can see. It's almost to the point that I can run a truce game without having to babysit it 24/7.

I love the delay options, and the only problem I see is the learning curve to figure out where those settings need to be. I'm still playing with them and getting it down to an art now. Thanks for the updates.

Once things settle down, I'd like to start adding in presets so you can choose from a list of popular game types, something like TWAs but a bit easier for noobs to use. I rely on people like you to figure it all out with little or no direction, then once you have some nice game styles, I can use those ;)

I definitely feel like it's too Darn hard to find things in the editors. Even for me. Not sure how best to deal with that. I've been thinking about a "did you know..." message on startup of TEDIT that introduces various settings so people learn a little bit here and there as they're using it.

That's why I was asking for Tedit screen shots and choices to be displayed on the EIS site and indexed for quick reference.

I like your "did you know..." to further explain the effects of the setting on the game.

Well, anyone who wanted to put up such a reference could easily do so. That's not high enough on my todo list at the moment. That information is easily available to anyone who's interested in learning TEDIT. Just go in and start looking at the various settings.
