I see all the mods in here now and then. Thrawn's been busy, but I know he keeps an eye on things.

I don't personally feel llike the forum is out of control.

I haven't seen anything too far out of line. A few taunts and jabs every now and then. There is no moderator for "Open Discussion" however. I thought Thrawn did a very good job, I'm not sure why he's not still mod in this forum.

Some times real life takes precedence over this forum.

In the mean time, dust off those Zoc scripts, we may have to plan on a game this fall after everyone's back from vacaton's and such.

Nope, not a rumor. I reported it myself here. In HHT 2010 replay I botted Xan and he botted me. And yeah, he was all excited too that I had finally given in to script play. That was the coldest, lonliest public game I'd ever been in. Everyone AFK running bots. Bot "chatter" on SS while they ran gridders...
And no, I still don't know how to bot anyone, Xan made it simple for me to use him to buy-down. Xanos is a good player, and I appreciate that he and T.R. came to play with me. That's just not the style I prefer to play.

And don't even get me going on grid wars... biggest waste of turns if you ask me, and only neccessary because of pdrop and AFK attack scripts.

Turn the Gold Aliens on, make them aggressive so they can help grid bust until the game builds up the player base again.
