I noticed the other day that the fig listing had some quirky output.
It would have the sector number, and number if fighters, but where it would normally put Def/Toll it had a N/A

I'll check it again here in a bit.

Is anyone else having trouble remaining connected to the server, or maybe you don't know if you've dropped if you run a relogger.

I've been dropping quite a bit in game M, and wonder if it has anything to do with the gold aliens. Running wsst with abort display, I can't make out if my drop was triggered by something in the game or just a bad connection. But when I ran wsst in game L, I ran all day until I maxed out on the amount of credits I could hold.

I just checked figs in game M and it was smooth as silk. I don't think it was like you're showing above, that looks like an i/o display kinda thing.

this was odd in that it had the 1 in the number of figs column but had no 'corp' or 'Def/Toll/Off' at all. sorry i didn't get a cap of it, but I think it was fixed the same time the FedCom bit got fixed.

There was a memory leak that created a low-memory condition, and during that time there could be any number of crazy things happening. Let's just keep an eye out and see if anything happens again.

I've seen this before even in the old version, so I think what Cruncher is seeing isn't a bug in TW but display problems connected with the the telnet client. I've seen it with zoc and I'm sure swath does the same thing at times when you have scripts processing a lot of data quickly and the data is being displayed quickly.
It must not effect text captures, because my scripts that write screen data to file always seem to capture the correct data in correct order.

OK, not a bug then, just something out of the ordinary. In game M I'm using Swath -> TWX -> which then connects to the game. Then I start Mombot and run the trading scripts. (Log files kept both in Swath & TWX)

I've not seen that when I use Zoc -> TWX -> game. But then when I'm using Zoc as my telnet client I'm running Mombot trading scripts in the Non-Gold Game. (Log file only in TWX)

Do you want to plan on running a game to really play starting next weekend? Not this weekend, don't want to anger the Mom's. :wink:

That's two lines mashed together. Or maybe one line incomplete and the next line overwriting it. I'd be interested in seeing any instance where the data coming from TW is actually missing characters like this. That's definitely something I would need to track down.

Yeah, I'd like to start a real game soon. I just finished adding a feature to set a future start date for a game and TWGS will automatically open it. I'd like a guest gameop to come in and use the remote connection to setup and manage this game as a test of the remote admin features.
