 SubZero opening on beta server

Unread post SubZero opening on beta server
Rather than reset the SubZero on game L of twgs.classictw.com, I'm just banging a new one (Game M). This one is stock SubZero. Gold features are enabled. Please spend some time in this game and let me know if you discover any issues. As far as I know I'm ready to release this thing, but I'd like to see a real game played on the beta site before I commit to it. If you play in this game, please post any issues or comments here. Thanks!

If you used the original sub zero twa, then there are a couple of issues I'll point out.

Death delay is saved in this edit as OFF.
Sub prompts are also OFF.

Most players would rather these settngs be changed unless you have a purpose for wanting them off.

D - Why don't you game-op SubZero? If JP give you access, just rebang it with the settings you prefer.

I don't need access or to game op, but if you guys want a bang set up and ready to go, just have JP send me the latest beta release and I'll bang a sub zero, make the changes needed for the start up and send the TWA back to him to import.

The main changes that need to be done with a fresh SZ bang are the following things:

1) If sub prompts are off, turn them on.
2) If death delay is off, turn it on.
3) Make Terra the best planet for holding fuel ore. (example: sub zero would be the Strikng Distance planet with a maximum of 7,500,000 fuel ore capacitiy)
4) Load Terra with colonists and set it up for maximum regen. (Fuel ore amount = starting colonists on Terra. Fuel ore colonists amount = colonists regen per day.)
5) If aliens are active, initiate them by creating a temporary account and log in to get them to create their start up planets, then beef up thier planets. How beefed up depends on the edit and how many turns.
6) Close the game until start up time to allow all players to get in at the same time. This is especially important in unlimited turn games. Seconds count.
7) The rest of the settings like delays, photon duration, etc depends on the type of game you want to provide.

I was using 2_MassUpgrade.ts to upgrade some planets. It stopped when the ports I was using were depleated and didn't go seeking as it was set to do.

So I tried 2_BuyDown.ts again and it failed.

OK - Same sector now trying to move colos from one planet to another using 1_MoveCol.ts

I have to manually type Q L 16 then the script starts upgain, but I have to do that with every cycle. Something is out of sync.

I'd like to see a log showing the output when the script failed, as well as one of the same action when it didn't fail so I can compare. Preferably a raw log. Most telnet apps provide for saving a raw log of output.

I tried twice. logging off, closing the connection between Swath & TWX.

I welcome anyone to log onto game M, my corp PW is TEST.

Use whatever assets you need to test with. Specifically, try running upgrade scripts in sector 3667.
