I'm just sayin', no one get's a head start, we all enter the game at the same time not knowing the edit, we all find out at the same time.

And you know what, some people will make mistakes because they didn't have a week to practice, and some people will make mistakes (me) because I'm still not all that comfortable playing today's TWGS.

And it's all good! Why be afraid to loose or afraid to make mistakes? Just have fun! Don't be so uptight about the whole thing, it's only a game!

That would be fine if there were an edit out there that no one has ever played. The problem is, edits get tested. Someone will know something about it. That gives them the edge.

Here is a perfect example. Lets just say you never played a MOO2 edit. I just recently learned the best way to cash in that edit. now you and me go into that edit together (under this hypothetical circumstance) in a tourney, and I have the edge right off the bat, its going to be pretty boring for me. I dont want that. If EVERYONE knows the same secrets, or has the opportunity to figure those start up secrets out before hand, the Tourney will come down to who played the best, and what team was the most cohesive, not which person knew the edit the best.

I would rather everyone have the chance to be on the same page at the start, hence, everyone gets a look at the edit and the ability to practice it first. I want to play teams that are prepared to kick my butt. Makes it funner.

Yeah, but the whole point of this is to play one of SG's edits and his I understand were always off the wall. So if the sysop changed up a few things in one of SG's edits, now no one knows everything there it to that particular edit..

Again, why in the world you all would continue to play the same games over and over again is beyond me. They would get as boring as a fully stock game after a while.

Right now I'm playing settings and a release I've never played before this. Figuring things out creating new strategies. I guess you could say I prefer the "thinking" strategy game to the "weekend shoot'em ups"

Guess you can holler at D if you are able to make it happen, I cant speak on behalf of the whole corp, but I for 1 am looking forward to another tourney. Especially if everyone has time to review the edit, as to limit the weak links and make it a challenging and competitive tourney!

If it's an edit you already know, why would there be weak links?

Oh well. I think RP is getting ready to give us a tourney soon. Have to wait and see. The bad part is the ICE tourney is still 10 months away. lol

This is supposed to be a Tribute game to SG, why isn't Boo Inc playing? I thought about telling TJ about it, to see if he would like to play with his Dad's old corp.

There's more drama about playing, not playing which edit, which server, which release than a gaggle of old ladies!
