Would depend on the moderator. Can you find someone that is unbiased? Seems that (with Thrawn being the obvious exception) would be new here.

Otherwise, I vote for the opt in idea. If you cant take it, dont read it.

And if you need a volunteer, throw my name into the hat. I haven't been around long enough to not like anyone in particular, but I have been around long enough to know the difference between smack and childish name calling.

Smack is always going to get heated, it's an
impossible task for any moderator. So either
open it up all the way, or keep it closed.

Maybe we should make smack an opt-in forum
instead of an opt-out forum. People who
wanted to join smack would apply to join, and
if they got out of hand their access could be
easily revoked.
