in order to limit some mischief, i have added the following changes to the rules.



{edited} to limit the planet bonus to citadel planets only and to clarify that megacorping is disallowed.

Rev may I suggest the planets be L2 or higher. L1 doesnt require invading and will not show in the logs

i don't care if it shows in the logs. it's bad enough that i'm going to have to count kills in the logs. i don't want to count planet captures in the logs because its so easy to spoof - i'm going to verify ownership with tedit post-mortem.

you do realize that your L0 planet can be captured and your opponent can build a citadel and get the points. i don't want to be guessing from the logs which planets you captured and whether or not they were your opponent's planets or some planet you named to look like theirs.

i'll consider your suggestion if you kindly refrain from calling me a moron in the future.

hahaha - you guys are so easy. i was just messing with you. seriously tho - i think L1 is enough to prevent abuse of the kill bonus, but i know the vols are pretty easy L1s to make. do you really think the kill bonus will be abused even at L1? i'm open to input... i just hate changing the rules this late in the process.

Ground Zero will be playing the game to destroy all other corps. If at the end of the game we haven't done that, on day 60 our entire corp will cby. We don't want a win by points. That should relieve some issues and concerns. Also I would prefer that only real players and real corps sign up for this game. Thank you.

Really, what difference does it make? If they aren't 'real' then rev will flush them day one. If they aren't 'players' they'll be flushed out shortly after. What are you afraid of?

They have to be at least L2 before we can see them in the logs, all the other points kills and deaths, show up in the logs. With L1s we cannot even estimate them.

Helix has a point about the log thing, however as I said, the Ground Zero corp will not be even considering a win by time limit. If at the end of the 60 day time limit we haven't clearly won, we will blow all our planets, ships, cash, and we will cby so that no one gets any points from our corp. We have no interest in winning this game by anything other than fair means and the "eliminate all" method. If we don't win, then we will consider it good practice for our new permacorp. Thanks again.
