 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
I have been watching since the newest version came out. I run SWATH under wine and I know it is not the native way to run it but this new version has a lot of pauses where 1.9.5 never did. It actually jumps screens and it gets everything done but it does not scroll like the previous version did. What else changed?

 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
MSL bug was fixed. Map was enhanced. MCIC was added but it doesn't work right on a buydown. Checkbox added to turn off logging in addition to the Save log directory. Scrolling issue was added to keep CPU use down I think some stuff was added to enhance macro's again but not sure

 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
So the scrolling issues that I am seeing in Linux is happening in Windows as well? I can load and verify later just wondering since I don't have any windows machines to test on here.

 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
When the text speed exceeds a certain limit the smooth scrolling is replaced by screen updates so you won't get behind. It will automatically return to smooth scrolling again when the speed goes below the limit.
I am interested in how users feel about this. Everything gets entered into the screen buffer and is scanned but the screen won't show everything when the text speed is high. The upside is that you won't have any delays.

 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
As with most things is it something I can adjust to, was just making sure since it was not like what I was expecting from previous versions. I had never seen the lag thing in Windows but I know in Linux it is common. No biggie was just curious if it was the same on both.

The upside is that you won't have any delays. I would think that the missed text wouldn't be as important as filling up the buffer, falling behind on the screen, and working the cpu harder. I think you are on the right track here. That's the problem with some of the scripts today, they are fast, but in some cases too fast without the correct waits or pauses.

 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
Yes, I imagine the issue being different depending on what machine you have etc. Maybe the limit should be possible to adjust in the settings so people can adjust it for their best experience.

 Re: SWATH 1.9.6 Released
Yes, there seems to be something wrong with the calculations. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
