See the following thread assuming you mean twx and win7 compatability.

The real trick to playing tw on windows 7 (or Vista for that matter) is to install any software at the root of the drive not in 'Program Files'.

If you use ZOC, install it in C:\ZOC; SWATH, install it in C:\SWATH; TWX, install it in C:\TWXProxy and get the executable from the thread in the Script forum. (viewtopic.php?f=15&t=24713)

Thanks guys. Actually I was doing some reading and this all helped me out alot. Especially with just dropping it into it's own folder. I had vista and just got a new computer that had windows 7 on it. I never had any problems playing twars on vista. Whenever I downloaded anything it was in it's own folder. So hopefully I won't have any problems. :) Also, I have a laptop for sale lol. 1 1/2 year old. Acer Aspire. Dual Processor 2 ghz 2 gig ram 120 gig hard drive 250.00 if anyone is interested hehehe... Yes it works and it's fast. I am getting the new starcraft II that is coming out early next week and I needed a system that could support hte game :)

I heard about SC II coming out. Tried to get the sys req for it but the site said the info was not available. I doubt I can play it on my machine which is 2.8 ghz with 256 MB of Ram and a generic video driver. Yeah, I didn't buy this machine for gaming. I bought it 5 years ago mainly for web surfing, office work and light gaming with older software like the original Starcraft.

Anyways, back on topic, I hope you get your TW issues fixed on Win 7, Comet. It is why I'm still on my Win XP machine. If I was ever to get another machine, I would load XP on that too. I'm not thrilled about Vista as I've tried it on a friend's comp though I've never looked at Win 7.

Well my previous post I put what the specs were on my ole laptop. It's not that it won't support the game but it was just a little laggy and it boggled down my system. I got this one for a birthday present but it was a nice video card with it and it's made for gaming.. If I remember correctly it says for SCII to at least have 2 gig of ram and 2 ghz.. Hrmmm I dunno. I am going to try and load twx and what not tonight. Zoc I had no problem :)

You are about right with SCII's Sys Req. I just looked it up.

Anyways give us a shout and let us know if you got everything squared away or not. Good luck.
