Honestly, it was a rotten mistake on my part. When I moved all of my games to the new server, I created them all again from scratch. Unfortunately, I missed one critical setting on the Sub-zero game and allowed unlimited deaths. So the game got pwned quickly by people who caught my error. I felt like a complete tool, and hopefully those who got wiped out can accept my sincere apologies.
Sysops are certainly not perfect, and I know we all do the best job we can. I mean, why even take the time and expense to build and run a server if not to try and give the players a good experience?
I try hard to give players a fun and enjoyable server to play on. Once again, I apologize for such a rookie mistake.
laff, one simple mistake has cost me plenty of times and I will probably continue to make them in every script I write. The thread I started on "The moment you realize" or something like that has a few of those wonderful moments...
The mistake on no death dealy in the SZ was in the original edit I believe - we just miss catching it sometimes.
