A long, long, time ago EleqTrizt set up a Seti@Home team http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_members.php?teamid=34334&offset=0&sort_by=expavg_credit. A bunch of us joined, and then I dropped out when a computer died. Fast forward to this week - I get an email from Seti@home which made me feel guilty. It's not that I'd forgotten about it, but what with them changing the client so that it wouldn't install, and then me dumping that Rassen Frassen piece of garbage called Windows, I never got back to it. So I tried installing the client on my MacBook, got it up and running, and started playing with it.

Much to my surprise the only two team members who'd completed any units were me and Acidman.

So where the hell is everyone else?

They did some format change a few years ago and I for one gave up trying to restart it, cant remember what the problem was.

Then I read http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stori ... Made.shtml and realised it was doomed to failure.
