 Using a *.bat file
Really bored, read through some of the script threads. Came across Wildstar being lazy blah blah blah, well he came up with writing a batch file to open his SWATH/TWX now while talking with T.R. is it possible to set port or certain things through a script or batch in TWX?

 Re: Using a *.bat file
twxproxy /p 1234
Sets port to 1234

 Re: Using a *.bat file
/p = sets port
/dblist = lists available .xdb files
/dbcreate = creates a new db
/sectors = sets sector count (prolly for dbcreate)
/script = will someday load a specific script, doesn't work right now.
We need a /db switch to set the database, I don't see one.

 Re: Using a *.bat file
I have a modified version of TWX that includes a switch to set the DB. The only downside is in doing so, it broke the port select switch, so it is not as useful as some would like.

 Re: Using a *.bat file
Nod. In a future ver I'm sure there'll be a functional select DB and a functional script setup.
What would be nice is a command-line way of running twxproxy and having it load a script, then have twxproxy quit when done.
That script could then output results to a file, and it could be parsed for errors. Would make it possible for sysops to use the twgs scheduler to regularly run scripts without keeping twxproxy in memory.

 Re: Using a *.bat file
it's do-able, it's just with the way all the code is intertwined it takes some time pouring thru it to figure it all out.
