Anyone here heard of: Core NetWorks, Dedicated Servers?

Looks like a service where one could (for $30/mth USD), have a TWGS hosted with hi bandwidth. I reached over 350k kbit/sec with this test download: http://corenetworks.net/50MB-testfile.zip

Prices are impressive, but that's also what makes me so skeptical. Most low-priced outfits end up overselling their bandwidth in the end. Domain has been regged since 99 tho, so who knows?

I don't think the $30 package would do it tho. From experience, it seems the CPU gets pegged pretty hard on a number of TWGS processes and the server is not multi-threaded, so core count matters a whole hill of beans. The $50 might work tho. My shell ping to their main server (core.corenetworks.net) avgs 25ms.

Think I'll go for the $50 plan, as you suggest. Makes sense in tha tI pay ~$30/mth to host a site.. for $20 more I get so much more. Now I just have to buy a Lic for TWGS, and learn how to run a server..
Probably should look b4 I leap, nah. not my style 8)
