The market needs to right itself and nothing bush or obama can or have done will change it. The charade we call a stimulus plan
Is to quell us in the interim of the invisible hand righting what is wrong. This will play itself out and we will either come out stronger or collapse

How is this for an idea. The banks are all in trouble because of the idiots that dont know how to live within their means and run up all kinds of bad debt and the banks letting it happen. I say if there is going to be a bail out then use the IRS to pay out an equal share to everyone that actually files taxes in this country. Then stipulate that they need to use it to pay down their own debts. This will help the economy more than giving the money directly to the banks and wall street. The people of the country pay off their bad debts thereby eliminating a lot of bad debt the banks are carrying and everyone wins because we have less debt and the banks recover as part of a natural process instead of an unnatural hand out that will only go to bonuses for the execs that are smart enough to figure out how to get it.
