 OCSBot- Creating TWX Window

Unread post OCSBot- Creating TWX Window
A question on TWX scripting and creating a window in the script. I understand how to make the window, and specify a size. I am wondering if I can specify the "location" the window opens on the screen. For example, our OCSBot script has it's first mod added called OCSBot Recon (many thanks to LoneStar for his tremendous help and time) that moves the OCSBot from Sector 1 to StarDock and back. The OCSBot Recon script opens a window and shows me the location the bot is at.

Because I run OCSBot in our main TWGS, I also run 2 OCSBots on our second TWGS for Daala and myself. Rather than these windows opening in the exact same spot, I'd like them to open in different locations on the screen. Or maybe have the window open in a minimized state. If it is not possible, that is ok. I was just curious.

Do you have a tutorial to use OSCBOT or any message Bot existing in Grimy Trade website... cause I would like to use one and I didn't succeed for the moment... maybe a little help should easy the procedure...

The OCSBot is posted on Grimy's. Inside the zip is a file called ocsbot_install.txt, which outlines how to use it on the SysOp side. It includes how to place the bot in TWXProxy and setting up a database. This bot was designed as a helper for new players, not a bot to control another player.

OCSBot will sit in the game and wait until it is called upon. The script was created to use SS channel 4357, and will post this in a General Announcement on a rotating schedule. When a player sets their SS channel to 4357, they can type "ocsbot" on SS (no quotes) and the script will respond with a menu. If they want to access a selection, they type "ocsbot #" (no quotes), where # is the number assigned to that particular help file. So, for example, the player types ocsbot and the following menu appears:

So for help, they type "ocsbot 1" (no quotes) on SS to see a help file, "ocsbot 2" (no quotes) displays the credits, etc.

The second release is coming soon and I will post on Grimy's. It will have the first mod to the bot called OCSBot Recon, which moves the OCSBot in the game.

I posted on Grimy's the OCSBot v1.1 release. This script is a helper for new players, not to be confused with other bots that control players. Inside is the install text file with instructions.

New to this release is the OCSBot Recon, which moves the OCSBot from sector 1 to Stardock, then back to sector 1.
