I should also add, that I also been working have a 'star trek' themed setting game. Using ship styles/types from the various races in star trek (obviously not every one, but federation, klingon, romulan etc, the important ones).

Miss your games Vader but glad to see you still around Back on topic, i'd like to see a game where ya get x amount of colos on a planet you build. Terra produces none. Tedit won't allow for putting colonists on new planets. You can put product but not colonists.

As it is, there has not been one single "real" offensive to speak of. This is why I still think this game is going to stale, and why I believe Sing stated edits to the exact opposite of what we have been playing.
I personally think a bit more balance to the Colonists versus the Cashing(and obviously this should reflect in the ship and planet edits) is in order for any future tourney.
Also, a much, MUCH smaller uni, as honestly.... This isn't 4 or 5 corps of "elite" players here. Id agree on most of it. In fact most of hte corps didnt even have a practice to speak of, and alot of the players are returning after a few years, so no there isnt any real "elite" corps here, but there is a few players that this day and age can be considered "elite". I have to say corp 1 has lost things, lost of cash, turns and planets, ships. I have to say i feel sorry for LS, but it shows the real spirt of him and his game play when most ceo's would have thrown thier hands in the air and left. Guess next time ill try not to give out warm fuzzys, maybe after you come back after another year you game play will be a little better. Im sure you not playing at 100% and a little rusty.

C1 has stuck it out because of the players within the corp, attrition is your own worst enemy. In corp fighting is minimal, we all have outside lives that we attend to. If anything I'm sure LS is proud to ceo a corp that didnt just throw in the towel at the first signs of trouble. There are 6 players including myself making this corp engine move, while LS may be the most experianced scripter and possibly player, we consist of a mix of experiences and backgrounds. Regardless of our issues, we have yet to point fingers and label eachother as "noob's" and are aggressivly proceeding as we are allowed. For all our loses, SD's and self destructive activities we have seen more battles than some of the other corps combined. Which at least in my eyes show either reckless abandon or the ability to move outside our shells and focus on finding the other corps and dealing with the possible invasion's/invasion at the time they happen. For myself I hold no delusions, while i have been involved in corps that were more precise I am proud to be part of a corp that jels so well together and doesnt quit at the first sign of trouble. In the end we might not win the battle but were going to surely put up one hell of a fight to try. See you on the battlefield, -Kaus :::Kane thank you for the compliments directed at the corp. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -D, sorry for the momentary Hyjack. I'm a fan of wierd edit's to BTW 10k, low turns, 2-3 viable planets, balanced ships.

Read my Horror-Scope today, and it read: Corporations in less economic trouble will agree to cede mutual agression until competition is removed. Quit Day-Job, play more TradeWars! Lucky numbers are 23 33 9 69

If your domain hasn't been renewed then a spammer will probably grab it and register it for the next 10 years. You might want to register it before it passes redemption.

Tedit won't allow for putting colonists on new planets. You can put product but not colonists. He may have been referring to the few colos you get on starter planets when that option is enabled. Anyway as far as edits - maybe something with ships that each are set up for only 1 basic function - Examples: Attack Ship - Medium figs, high wave size, high att odds, low def. Genesis Ship - non-combat ship, only ship that can carry G-torps. Destroyer - Low end combat ship, only ship that can carry A-dets. Telepod - non-combat ship with high transport range. Mover - non-combat, max holds, 0 xport range. Casher - non-combat, 200ish holds, med xport range Colonizer - non-combat, med hold, t-warp, commissioned. Furb - non-combat, 63 starting holds. Moth-er Ship - lots of figs, high TPW, low att and def odds Defender - max shields, med/high figs, low att, high def plus def bonus Anyway you get the idea... Also, instead of MBBS how about a standard game with low a rob % so you could have mini-MR's once planets are mobile.
