 Another SWATH question
I use Swath. I love Swath.
I'm just wondering, if Swath the only TW2002 helper program still under development today? Are there any others I dont know about? I realize even Swath doesnt get updated all that frequently, but just wanted to see if there are other choices for TW that perhaps I don't know about.
Also, does TWXProxy still get updated, or is 2.04 considered the 'last' release?

 Re: Another SWATH question
TWX is still being developed. I'll try to redo the TWX site soon, as this is really where TWX news and updates should be hosted.

 Re: Another SWATH question
SWATH, TW-ATTAC, TWXProxy are the only helpers left. There was JTWAT but it long since died off. ZOC is a terminal program, but it has some scripts that work great, and combined with TWXProxy it's a good choice.

 Re: Another SWATH question
I agree Thrawn...but using ZOC you need to use the version that is posted at Grimy.... newer versions have some conflicts with the scripts avaliable since it is written in the rexx code. Rev might be able to shed more light on that issue since his bot and scripts are the best for ZOC and he has worked with the German developers. I happen to like ZOC for the added features enabling file transfers and quite a bit more with other ZOC users plus it does not require FamNet to be onlne to allow SWATH to authorize it being used...and yes I know there is an option to run SWATH if FamNet is down for any strange reason.

There is a helper called GATH that is out - can't tell you much about it other than it is free. http://goffconcepts.com/products/window ... index.html

Nod. I also like ZOC for when I am mobile and can't get SWATH to authenticate, especially in my career field. Plus ZOC integrated nicely with our ScoreKeeper program I wrote for all our automated tasks. I can have the multiple instances start up with no issues, where on the occassion SWATH would have a start up error. ZOC/SWATH/TWXProxy combo is still our choice. I run both at same time. If I want the map, I use SWATH. Most scripts I use ZOC.

VisualSVN... Right Thing. Done Right.
Better than a left thing left undone I guess, or a right thing done wrong. Or a wrong thing done right, altho perhaps not better than a wrong thing done wrong, or so I hear.

To break it down: "Better than a left thing left undone I guess, or a right thing done wrong. Or a wrong thing done right, altho perhaps not better than a wrong thing done wrong, or so I hear." left thing left undone - left somthing left unfinished right thing done wrong -- did the right thing but did it wrong (hit the brakes, but pushed too hard - rearended by another car.) wrong thing done right -- made a mistake, but did it right -- should have hit the clutch, easy on the brake wrong thing done wrong -- kissed the girlfriend's best friend in front of the girlfriend (wrong and wrong). Back on topic - I got on Rev's site w/o any problem. Kind of different, but worked well.
