Well since haggling and searches seem to be your specialties, why not something that uses both? As far as I know most world trade scripts just wander around until they find a port pair then start trading. Why not make one that generates a list of port pairs from CIM data then moves to the nearest pair and trades them down, then moves on to the next pair, etc...
It could even track MCIC and use that to prioritize subsequent runs.

1) Planet Shield Loader... this is self-explanitory I think. I want a script where I can set a desired number of planet shields I want to have, and make the script automate the purchase/transfer process. Should allow for both blue and red movement options, and to do multiple planets in a sector.

I have one at Grimy's. It should be in the zip.
IF not, it will be there somewhere.

Good luck.

Hey hey hey, I've pretty much gotten the hang of TWX :)

I still need that script where it steals all of t0yman's assets and turns them into my assets.

those types of scripts are used in unlim turns games (no turns player would use them as they waste too many turns) and the main goal in unlim games is to cash early and fast. the problem is that when you first log in, you don't have any cim or ztm data - your only choice is to use the wander around method. if you took the time to do a ztm, you would have lost by the time it finished. either way, you won't have any port data at all until you either explore a little or eprobe. eprobing still requires cash first, so again you gotta wander around.

Twarp to dock, land on the planet, and keep hitting "d", and wait for colonists to appear. When the planet goes super nova, it means you've drained the planet. ROFL

Hey EP,

What about a macro recorder in TWX?? Yes those of us that use ZOC could do it but even then it would still be a cool option in TWX. Another cool one that us ZOC users can't take advantage of is a status bar with game info?

Check out oz's _oz-mac-repeat.ts script. That may be what you are wanting on the macro recorder.

Would like a script that tracks fig hits and spits out info indicating a pattern, if any. Always wanted to make one but not enough time.

Sing has a macro pack pretty sure it will record a mac. Also. Traitor has a macro mangler that does many things including macro-recording.

you can find both on http://www.psgygq.com/Scripts.htm

I think traitor's fills the macro need very well. Do you have one Sing?

I did once write an ANSI stat bar that was functional, that used space after column 80 to display the stats. It required some reconfiguration of ZOC, or any terminal that wrapped at column 80. I'm not opposed to dusting it off and updating it.
