 Re: thereverend.org rebangs
Next time, could you post something like: "Tomorrow <Morning/Noon/Evening> I'll be banging <Game Type Here>!!" Thanks

 Re: thereverend.org rebangs
After rebanging a game could always use Promethius - proGameOpen -- Version: 1 to set the opening time. Might help a little for the sysop's that somehow manage to have a real life. http://www.grimytrader.com/GrimyDownloadScript.cfm?script_version_id=609

 Re: thereverend.org rebangs
hmm it looks like my dyndns has timed out and i can't connect to my own twgs. i'm on vacation - does anyone happen to have the ip address from before the dyndns crapped out? if you do, i could fix it from here.
edit: sheesh - looks like dyndns.org flat out deleted my account. they have been getting pretty snippy about creating a paid account and i giving very short notice before your dns expires. i didn't think they would delete the account though. sigh. if anyone has my ip address i can link it to a subdomain of thereverend.org - i think.

 Re: thereverend.org rebangs
ok i'm back. my twgs redirection is now at twgs.thereverend.org. i've had it with dyndns. for future reference, this should resolve to 24.125.100.9.

 Re: thereverend.org rebangs
hmm. it looks like my subdomain redirection only works for http.
i suppose i'm just going to shut down my twgs for lack of interest. few people play on it and nobody notifies me when a game needs a rebang. furthermore, since the dyndns/subdomain has been hosed, nobody had tried to contact me on the forum or email or instant messenger to say, "hey rev the server is down." so all its doing is keeping my laundry room warm.

 Re: thereverend.org rebangs
I understand all too well Rev. The game has limited participation these days. I've played 4-5 games in the last week on different servers and at best there were 4 people in them. Two others actually played a bit in one of them. I see players log in and never move out of Fed. There are some exceptions if you want to play TradeHugs.

I think I see Ice9 in that sentence somewhere But Tradehugs does get some people that would otherwise get fed up and never play if the wandered into a killing spree, so they all have useful purpose. I like both, social aspect of builder, plus some killing....oh well it is a shame to see a board go down but who knows maybe it will be Resurrected in the second coming.
