I just wish the players would play wherever it may be. I like alienbase and the stardock because they both drew players. No it seems only UTW has any players to speak of and even as many as they have it would have just been a normal turn out for most servers 3 years ago. Silver Wings had 30 or 40 players on at all times and we weren't even the most active server back then.

I would make a full return if one of them came back and had their cool games up again.

I enjoyed Vader's server more than most I played on. Used to have good players and good edits. AB was good and the first server I played on when I came back to the game... seems like it was a 5k sector game and maybe 5k turns... slept since then.

I think I miss Fament the most. Some of my fondest games were played there. It was a game on Fament that my team won against Hosem's team. I couldn't beleive it! The level of players at that time really brought out the best in us all.

Even earlier was PacRim. Gosh, I know he's gonna kill me if he reads this, I forget his handle now. But a player on PacRim offered to give me a Level 4 and I turned him down thinking it was a trap. LOL

Anyhow, Fament was a riot when Boogie was running the games. He really catered to us players and bent over backwards to make sure we had a screeming server to play on. Later on Eje also did a very fine job hosting and running the games there.

Time happens, life happens and as they say, "You can never go home again." I'm just grateful I was there for those games at that time. Many of the old school players came out for those.. Hosem, Monday, Gypsy to name a few. Man did I learn a lot!

I know today I don't have the time to play. Heck, I don't even have a telnet client. I tried to pop into a game recently but didn't have the software to telnet. Darn this XP Pro! If I get telent figured out, I may pop in to visit a game.

In the mean time, keep trading! This is a fantastic game to learn and I'm so glad the old TWGS is still attracting players! I've read some of the developments from Sylien and they are so, so.. oh so VERY WRONG! Keep the game pure!
