I see a lot of games banging in the 6 PM and 7 PM time ranges, but I am guessing that many players can't be around for the bang start (shift workers). The day of week gets pretty well covered.

I am thinking of game opening times of 6 PM, midnight and 6 AM central time. The times are primarily a concern for unlim type games where in quick and getting going is critical. Right now I am thinking of a Friday night midnight game opening of a Sub Zero edit using a script to open the game on RiverCity. Is there any interest in this time frame? Prob have to call it something like Midnight Insanity bang since Midnight Madness is already taken.

Anyway, what is the best time/day to open a game? (Please adjust time zones to Central time or specify time zone).

9pm or 10pm eastern has always been good for turnies. That's 6 or 7pm pacific and a few hours ahead of a typical extern.

I think a midnight game would be good. It would give me a chance to play (maybe) but that would mean id be up till 4 or so... seems 6-9pm is about right, 9pm cst wouldnt been bad for most.

The Midnight Insanity would work great for me. I work 1st and 2nd most of the time so just like you said Prom when I get home usually the subbys are already locked up forcing me not to play or to find an established game that no one ever goes into. I would probably lose my job with the midnight bangs (est. time) but hey can't win em all. As far as a specific day... Friday seems to be good, or the weekend. Thanks for asking...

I will bang a midnight game Friday - an unlim Sub Zero. I am also thinking of a (shudder) truce of V=1 for the Greek Gods II unlim edit on Saturday around 9 PM. I really don't like truce games for several reasons, but a V=1 might work with the short time. I hate sitting around for 3 or 4 days while people hit fighters and not able to do anything.

I will try the midnight bangs again and see what happens. I played mainly on weekends myself because getting into an unlim 6 hours after bang during the week is pretty much useless, although it can be interesting sometimes.
