kk, I spent the day trying to optimize the connection and modem, see if that helps.  If not I may need to switch ISP's

Whats the general area your in? Im in the midwest I mostly get around 200's at either coast. I checked in another game and the pings have been the same since i started the game, So i dont think its my "wonderfull" cable comp. doing it

Hardware issues. I'm going to have to get more tech support when I get time.  Now it won't even keep an IP for connectivity.

I've been working on it all day and have the issues resolved to the most part.  I ping about 110, of course I'm only a few miles from the ISP too.  Anyway, it's the best it's going to get.  Hope it works

OK, Finally got some good pings now.  Most high speed players on cable or dsl are getting around 180 or less.  Thanks for the help guys.

Did you get it resolved? I can't connect to you, from 1700 PST to this morning @ 0600 PST. I can connect to everyone else except you.

yah, finally got everything working right.  I'm going to bang a new unlimited game at 7pm EST on Thanksgiving night so everyone can get an equal start.  It will be sub zero with the aliens toned down a bit, but the alien planets will be maxed on ore and figs
