I am sure you know what my position is on this debate heh. If anyone does feel morally compromised using a bot (a very small minority I would guess), you can always use the >bot off command to essentially make it a self helper only. No one can login or control you but all the other commands work for yourself.

I will not force my opinions on you guys and I will not bash you for using it.

I for one, feel handicapped without this awesome tool. Many thanks to you MD and M()M in general for their contributions to this great tool. Bot's have been around for a long time and most of us have tried them and use them. But the M()Mbot is more like a TW helper that has a bot feature. Sure it can have an unexpected issue once in a while, but wow... I've been using it on such a regular basis that I'd have a hard time being without it! Thank you!

One thing that occaisionally happens to me and I didn't notice it mentioned here is; sometimes (not all) when using the Tab/M (mow) to dock, it trys to lay a fig or something that is not allowed in fed, resulting in the loss of holds and creds. I found that using >mow works without issue, which is the work-around.

I really like M()Mbot  ,,,,Now if u can get me a visual map to go with all the features i wouldnt need anything else.

Wildstar, I'm courious, is your issue only with people using bots to control other players while they are afk, or do you dislike bots in general even if you self bot?
I understand your reservations with people being controlled, but if you dissagree with self botting I'd like to hear your explanation?
 

I see a differance between running a script myself to say ssm or something over me being gone from the game for hours and haveing someone else start me up, make me colonize, then go do other stuff that I would usually need to be there to do.

We can discuss the morals of Bots and scripts in general discussion.

Space Ghost is trying to SUX! his way back into being a mod , admin or what ever you want to call it. Trying to get JP to let him back in. If he does he sure has JP fooled.

This would happen to me when starting a new game/edit. Found out that it wasn't picking up the dock sector upon intial start-up. Now when I enter a edit for the 1st time, I hit V before loading the bot and problem was solved. This may not be quite what you meant, but does work for me.

Getting bak on topic....

1, Built in macro recorder... always handy!!
2, Send * after stopping a non mombot script. That would save valuable seconds.
3, Built in "anti tag u back to main menu" defense

I guess they are for the addons and scripting genius's to add later but wud be cool for me lol

i want to say thanks for this - still learning how to use all its features. there are many like myself who have no scripting ability who benefit from this just like many did when twx first came out.
