A Notice and a Promise to our Members

I'm sorry to report a members account has been wrongly edited a second time.
A while back an incident happened where a mod on the forum staff abused his powers and took over another members account. In these last few days the subject came up again in the posts.
At that time mods and admins helped the original member get his account back, the Mod was dealt with, and the forum went on about it business.

But due to recent posts bringing up the subject again, a closer look at what happened was done, in this re-investigatoin the members account was looked at by me and the admin staff. the Admin that fixed the problem the first time noticed the member account was cleaned out and member info changed again.
The admin clearly remembers there was a thank you post posted and others, the member was e-mailed and asked if he deleted all his posts and changed his member profile. (I recieved email back confirming my suspions also in the response from the member we were informed that the member has been getting an excessive amount of private messages from other members that the original member felt was wrongly directed, and he asked if we would fix this problem). It pains me to say that another staff member on behalf of the mod that was removed tried to get revenge on this poor member. Due to the recent staff changes, we beleive the one that did this second edit has been removed. this was one of the reasons for the staff change. We are looking into old logs to see what other misdeeds that previous staff member may have caused and correct it.

I believe due to the new staff and changes and checks and balances being put into place, that this kind of thing will never happen again. I would like to apologize to the community for the misdeeds the Forum staff has done in the past. members should have the right to expect that the fourm is run by a competent staff and that your account and posts are safe. We now think we have what will be the admin team that will be taking care of these forums for the forseeable future.

im sure everyone wants it to be kept private, but it sounds like you're blowing some smoke right now

well i hope that your not infering that *I* did this (as i was the one removed) but i will be open and say i did not help anyone in this matter in any way. Further, I distinctly remember another Admin involved in this case but it was NOT me.
just so im clear in my communications to everyone no smoke and mirrors i was NOT involved in any way shape or form in this matter.

I'm simply stating my feeling here, but any user/username with posts on the site, regardless of how long it's been since he/she has been logged in, should be left alone.
It's my understanding with the admin that only users with 0 posts and haven't been logged in for some time should be deleted.  All other accounts can be archived if needed, but not deleted.
This is the understanding that I have,.. an admin can correct me if I'm wrong.
 

So is this about me again? Just wondering cuz i got a few things to say if it was. Superadmin tell us or pm me if you have to.

Just wondering about the age group of this forum? It seems to me that
it is populated by 12 year olds which would surprise me seeing as how
old TW is. I belong to a number of forums on the net and have never
seen such immaturity.

Hah funny you should say that. Seems that for the last few months this forum worked better then it has in a long time. then this unexpected turn of events ignited this whole thing off.

I'm not so sure this is as much about you, as you simply got dragged into it.  To be honest I never realized till lately there was two kanes, so now I got to look back and see who I've spent my time talking to.
 

Its about me, dont worry who youve been talking to cuz pretty soon there probably will only be one "kane" as even the super admin has no clue on what he is talking about. Zentock did it all. so saying the he removed the admin involved is wrong. But hell im allways open to talk on icq, Ill make sure my # is listed in my profile, just make sure you ahve the right Kane, Oh and this is for Super Admin or Vulcan whom ever you are.

Actually this was sort of difficult to follow. Let me show you what ths sounded like.
Party-A accuses Party-B of accusing the previously mentioned party of tampering with evidence of Party-C.  On the 3rd day of the 5th month of the current year, Party-A shall submit all credible evidence of the previously mentioned accusation to council of Party-B.  Party-B shall submit said documents in duplicate to Party-C within 30 days of the above mentioned date.  

it was kane. who started it, but not in the way he thinks. and why it was re-opend was cause of a statment he made.
some people just should of kept mouth shut.

Kane. made a bold statment in a post how's hes been Kane. for a long time. im sure he belives this, but its not true. that got Zen into looking up dates, so we looked up Kane. reg on every forum (its public information) and then we looked up the REAL Kane , and wait a minet dates dont match or are funny? (Thank TWGod we had a backup of the old fourm), where are the postes from the REAL Kane? Hell No! this member was hacked agian! so I hope ALL of you can see this is not a simple a thing, this Revenge edit happend after Kane. was not a MOD anymore, so it wasnt him who did it. but some one did.........?

And I personaly wonder how many other members account was messed with, and deletions, and info edited to cover-up, get back at someone, this is a blackeye for the forum and the community for sure.

This is really funny. It was probably Zen that deleted and messed with the other accounts in the first place. Zentock is one of the biggest over Moderators ever. He has been guilty in the past more times of editing and deleting posts than anybody, look at how many people post over at Vulcan's Forum now. And it has a better interface and is much faster than this forum. Since Earth and vulcan redid this forum. If they would get rid of Zen this forum might actually run better and have a lot more users posting.

Oh my are you serious you are a jack a*s, Ive told you a million times what happened. The truth, but it seems your so mad about this it keeps coming up. why is that, and the "real kane" has never came and said anything.... even when i tried to talk to you and "the real kane" on icq, still no go. Also pretty Darn funny how you keep saying it was this site, and that is true as im kane on all the other boards im on too, even stardock have been for ever. I belive the blackeye for this forum is Zentock and well you now im sure. maybe you could pull that stick out of your a*s and do your job instead of making more drama.

If this continues down these lines of discussion, I'm going to have to move this to smack.  Steer it back to the issue please.
