Hello ClassicTW fans,
Just a post to tell you that Moomoo has been asked not to post in this forum anymore. It has recently come to my attention that Moomoo, though well-intended in attempting to help the TW community's continuity and inform you about developments for TWT (Trade Wars Tournament), has taken some of the community's comments too personally and has reacted "badly". I believe, from spending some hours updating on posts here, that some of the misunderstandings and emotions lived here are due to misinformation and misinterpretation.
I apologize for any hurt any member of the community may have suffered due to Moomoo's posts in reaction to certain comments. Moomoo (aka Vadis) is a good man I assure you.
What will Sylien be doing now:
- We will continue to work on TWT
- We will continue gleefully accepting help from the ClassicTW community on ensuring TWT is as good a graphical remake as it can be
- We will be introducing Trade Wars to large blocks of population very soon (when TWT is Open Beta), thus get fresh blood involved
Anyway, any of you are welcome to help us out in devving TWT, if you wish. You know where to find us. (see signature)
And please, if you want to know what Sylien is and what is Sylien's relation with Classic TW, JP, or anyone else etc... please go to the source and ask me directly by e-mail, by PM or otherwise. I am an open book on this. I would suggest the community does not attempt to interpret information from 3rd party sources as it creates division, confusion and from what I read here, some anger as well.
Thanks for reading this and have nice games, nice Bangs and real cool discussions.

moomoo is a good man? so he hacked our forum and made people in our community angry at eachother? i am embarrassed for you and your friend. but most of all i am embarrassed for JP for having to deal with retards like you and moomoo
why has it not been brought to everyones attention yet that it was infact moomoo that hacked the forum and caused trouble? probably to keep JP from being in the embarrassment spotlight, but oh well.. ill let you all know who it was anyway

Ya know what give me a break. MooMoo didn't only give some ppl some misunderstandings but he hacked into the server and caused a lot of problems with a lot of people.
MooMoo's behavior was totally unacceptable. He's childish and manipulative.

LOL. There's nothing wrong with trying to extend an olive branch, nor recognizing one when it's extended to us.

CEO of Sylien Entertainment (or Grand Guru of "The Hand") Thank you for the olive branch. My question to you is how is hacking another forum considered reacting "badly"? Is it not a crime punishable by imprisonment, even in Canada??? If you continue to misinterpret "breaking the law" as reacting "badly", we will continue to have issues. It is my belief that if you wish to maintain or establish any credibility in this community, you should repudiate his actions and terminate your association with him. In other words: Fire the Frog! Then come back and apologize.

I'm sorry I had to move some of the comments that were made to smack. If you have constructive feedback (I know I don't so I'll be posting in smack as well) your welcome to post here.
If you don't then please take it to the "Smack" thread.

Can we get a lock, so our dignity doesn't suffer? Or let Sing move it to the TWT section of Navhaz.com

There's no reason to lock this thread. We can be mature enough to post smack in smack, and accept an olive branch when extended. We've been wronged I agree, but we can accept the change, and see what happens in the future.

I partially agree with Mr. Proton. We can be mature about this. However, what do we need to accept? The TW community has been wronged, true. But what do we need that TWT has to offer?
They have not made a case for relevancy here. Remember when JP sold TW the last time? There wasn't a hue and cry. The project fizzled out and disappeared into the ether.
TWT hasn't shown me why they are relevant, and why they deserve any sort of recognition in this grand forum. We give them more of a reaction than we do to most trolls, when at least the trolls have something interesting to say.
In short, if we ignore them, maybe they'll go away. They have their own forum. They don't need to come here. If we wish to patronize their product, we know how to get there. They don't have to be replied to here, for any reason at all.
My 2 bits.

By change, I was refering to the change in ambassadors from TWT, not the change in the game. MooMoo was trying to drive a wedge in the community, and if we continue to hold that grudge he partially wins. We can play OUR game, thiers, or both, but it's our choice.

What change? There is no change as long as moomoo/Vadis goes unpunished for hacking this site. So what if they have another mouthpiece? As long as that criminal still works for Sylien the tune is still the same, they just changed the singer.

BTW lemund, I am not a fan, I am a player and a twgs owner. To my mind, fans are people who talk alot about playing and running a game but don't actually do it, fans are a lot like you actually.

Cerne, I have to disagree with you on "fans are a lot like you" in reference to Lemund or whatever his alias is. True fans enjoy something because they have a love for the game. From what I can tell, the reason for interest by the TWT group is not due to a love or even likeing of the game. They are purely interested in creating a game that will create a profit - nothing wrong with that - but that isn't a fan.
A fan is also not someone who tries to destroy its user base through their actions. This statement is not directed toward anyone - take it at face value as appropriate.
