I was chatting with someone on ICQ last night about how things might be different around here.

Right about now, we all have the opportunity to rise to the support of these forums, putting aside the ego's and the injured pride that goes with getting that ego bruised.

I asked myself if I was up to it, was I willing to put the game and the forums before my ego and was I willing to work with people I previously had differences with? The answer for me is 'yes'. 

What's the answer you get if you ask yourself that question? No one else can answer it but you.

Lets all just let Vulcan and the team he is putting together work, lets see what the result is before bashing it because it is different or because we wouldn't do it that way ourselves. Out of the ~3900 registered users here, we, the more active users, are a small minority. (But a Darn vocal one!!)

So far, I like what I see, how about you?

I agree with you Cern. We obviously cherish this community, the game, forum and even each other. Even if at times we talk smack to each other and so forth.

When we found that this forum had been hacked and we discovered the culprit everyone really came together to
resolve and protect this forum.

We need to stick together and respect each other more than we do.

For instance, The smack forum. Its kewl we have it to vent but within reason. Its not there to bash each other on a personal level or make threats to one another. (what is TW without drama? BORING!!)

I was asked to take the Moderator position for the smack forum and I'm flatter that I was wanted on the EIS team.

Personally I don't think we need a Moderator for the smack forum, I think it just needs to be monitored by an Admin. But.. we'll see how it goes.

So Cern the answer to your question. I"m sorry I won't leave my ego at the door. Laff Just kidding I will try and "behave"
