So all i can say is bs! this site has been backed up in triplicate, this site is on a system that is owned by one of its admins and any attack on it is a federal crime so like i said BS!

I reduced the size of the font so it doesn't look like you are yelling.  I'm didn't threaten anyone, and I'm not the only one that knows.  Ask around and you may find out why I said it.  This isn't a pressing issue that needs to be done in days, but it is an issue that needs to be thought about.  I mean unless you think nothing could ever possilby happen to Vulcan's server to where our official forum will never ever have to be moved ever.
The process of moving data will be very tough even if it is planned let alone if something goes wrong before that.

This forum needs moved in the near future.  I'm not going to go into detail about why I'm saying this, but it has nothing to do with the current admin or mods, it has nothing to do with who we like or dislike, and it has nothing to do with JP or Sylien.  There is another issue at stake here that will cause problems in the future.  We, as a community, need to be working on this, where ever it moves too.  I can't go into further detail, because I was asked not to, but we need to be working on this transfer in advance or we'll be doing it in haste at a later date, and some of our Tradewars past history could be lost.

I'll start a fresh topic instead of quoting anyone above because of the fonts.
I can't see that keeping quiet about something that will affect all of us is productive.   Also the reason that I didn't really want to go into this is because I don't know as much as some about it and I may state some things that are wrong, but here it goes.
This forums software is not transferrable from what I've been told.  Some of it can be converted and reused with new forum software, but the likelyhood of data loss is very high.  If anyone has noticed the posts are taking longer to load, the code is visable at the top of the posts, so it is a matter of time before this softwars bugs out completely.   Then it may be too late to transfer anything.   Regardless I'm told the user data and accounts won't be able to be transferred.   So we need to set up a new forum and try to transfer the data and get the users there before this software bugs out.  You guys do what you want, I'd just hate so see this happen on a moments notice and no one know whats going on.
I'll leave it to the others to explain this in further detail.  I may have already stated a few wrong facts.   There it is, you know what I know.
