 Name prolly got erased, like so many did during the xfer (unused names... poof). Doom came along, thought "Kane" sounded good, so he registered it too. The old "kane" came along and complained. IMO it's his own tough luck for not keeping the name up, but that's not my call. I strongly doubt it's the big underhanded conspiracy that everyone's making it out to be.

Good point Sing, but if you look at dates, and some of the logs were not shown, in post it was after Xfer, and I was shown that the account was deleted and a date and time (sorry dont remember exact) and Doom registered it 10 seconds after, plus he was pre informed of account taken.
and the REAL kane didnt get ICQ or E-Mail. And Doom complains he didnt get a reason?, Plus there is no time limet in any rule i have read on EIS as to a account time limet. anyway the "Evidance" is pretty clear. plus the instant "I Quit" from Doom the second his he was found out. They have been helped out, and theirs nothing to add, so the only point would be just to get anouther post added to my count. I am not here to justify any of my actions or what I have or have not done for TW or for what you have done or not done for TW... I frankly don't give a rats Butt what you think about me or what anyone else thinks about me. I am not here to impress anyone, Nor is anyone else for that matter. So next time take the stick out of your Butt before you say something, and please make it some what intelegent too. And if your not concerned with this, then why are you applauding ZEN? he Did a wrong if someone lost their account then TO BAD!!! Um, if the name was available to be taken.. it's fair game.

Kane of old Was Danny Cannon, played alot a Vidworld, and the others. He came in about 5 months ago to play in a game with parrot, Vid and me. as of this moment hes playing WoW or some online game, But so are alot of other TW players. Doom is not kane of old if you read the posts on Vulcans Forum. the text and the dates told the story. I know your not that dumb Slim.
I also wanted to add, Danny is the First Eagle Scout I have ever meet, and is a Honest person, where Doom? keep eyes open for a new player on EIS posting a lot Ill bet is Doom/KaneDOT? sneaking back in. _________________ The Last Honest player in Tradewars! |

No, the new Kane wanted the name so he got it deleted.

For instance, when they moved the accounts over from the previous forums something happened to my account. I couldn't get in even though I was using the same name and password as always. I told Vulcan and he changed the password so I could get in. It could have been done just like that. Doom wanted to use the name Kane and just asked for it. It wouldn't have mattered at all if the original Kane hadn't come in and said HEY what happened to my password?!?

Let me fill everyone in.
When I became a mod, I had asked Zentock if i could have Kane, since it hadnt been used for ever,I had used the name Kane in the game for ever and use it at Vulcans and also have it at the stardock from for ever ago. anyway Zentock said I could have it back. No harm no foul untill the "REAL" Kane came back and wondered what had happend. No big deal, my problem is the way Zen handles things, Im not quiting TW just taking a break. Im not quiting eis, Im taking a break. I am how ever quitting being a Mod here. So there it is, * all you want. I wont be making a new account I guess i will just stay with this one. Oh and no i never claimed to be anyone else but me. Laff, KaneDOT idea of forever is what 4 or 5 months?
I would safely say 95% of the player base that are members of EIS, dont post, or gets into the smack. most just come to EIS any more just to see what games or going. Just because they dont post every day or week, does not mean they are not a member, nor Have I seen any time limet on being a member. as it looks now its FOREVER! A million names to choose from...to the new peeps...go to Stardock.com and do a trader name search......if you see the name ...choose another.
If this was about a more well known trader name (to the minute percentage of Tradewarriors that post on this site) the roof would have come off instead of just the door. Btw Slim..Kane has been playing a long long time however He like the vast majority of Tradewarriors will not post here at all or very seldom for obvious reasons. Perhaps Slim could provide us a list of all Traders and their various alii currently playing Twz. Several hundred copies of Twgs were sold last year alone so the list might be bigger than the peeps on this little smack board think. |
