And that is why we dropped the issue by the time we got to the end of that thread. Geez everyone has a chip on their shoulder. I used your site as an example because unlike Vulcan's Forge you don't have a rule about Mega-Corping. You don't have a rule about Alien Planet Farming either.
Just because no one ever brought it up before doesn't change that Outpost Tradewars doesn't have any rules. The way Thrawn explained, the reason there are no rules is because he wants to extend the greatest leeway to the players. It takes all different kinds of people and servers to make up a community. If mentioning your site as an example makes you uncomfortable just say so.

 I would have to say the reason for the port blowing was to aleart opossing teams to the locations of the battel of 1 corp being invaded by another. Bait if you want I can send you the screen caps of YOUR OWN SS convos of SG adreesing your corp about info sharring . (I do belive I still have it.) His intent was to sabatoge our exscape with your soon to be L4 planets.
How ever what acutual happend from that occation I can never be to sure how ever I belive sam and parrots corp in the fact that they didn't get the info, due to Snow White talking SG out of it. so he didn't do it but intended to.
A few days later some one on SG/baits team blew the port as they were being invaded. weather it was right or wrong I dunno...would lean in the side of wrong given the nature of the game, dunno if you could realy call that mega corping. It did alert my team to where they were and what was going on so they went in to, how ever the intent was more to take out SG/baits team as well rather then to protect them.
The port blowing went on for a few days every time they were found after moveing. so I would have to say it wasn't realy mega corping just chicken gorge play...and he wasn't even on that team. heh
So for Chicken george play Bad Form and Good strategy but a last resort....kinda like blowin SD and locking peeps out of a game your tryin to play. Lots of peeps do it to end a game or save there Butt. just up to what kinda player you are I guess.

hey kewl where DID you get a copy of our SS channel discussion about me posting your locations in the log? And Why WOULD you have things like our private conversations..fig count on planet..fuel resources...planet.... locations things like that...
Who on my Corp would give you such access to the SS channel and other private corp information?

Yep sure did have the intent..And if i did it it STILL wouldnt be against the rules.

Also i was wondering if information sharing is as low AS trying to take advantage of someone's bot script...Several times you tired to access Bounty Hunters "MoM bot" to turn off the fig refiller...
Is this just as bad as your apparent distaste for information sharing?

Cern. I had 1 rule when I had my server up. That was NO dupes. The reason for this is because just about anything else is unenforcable or trivial. I can't see having 40 rules that you can't police effectively, or are in my opinion sissy rules. Here are some of the sissy rules I'm talking about.
NO Stardock blockades (This is just rediculous, a good grid script will do this)
NO Blowing class 0 ports (Beef it up in every game if you dont' want it blown)
NO Alien planet farming. (If you want to play games iwth aliens, deal with it)
Then there are rules that are very hard to enforce, if not impossible in some cases.
Megacorping, duping(if multiple IPs), truce game violations, stardock blockades, and alien planet farming.
Foul language and racist remarks can be proven with captures from other players, as with some of the rules above. The problem with that is capture files can be edited also. So this isn't definite proof. Basically a sysop has to go on his gut instinct to enforce any rules at all. So why have 10 or 20 rules that he's just going to guess at or take one players word over another, on whether the rules have been broken or not?

Yep...good thing....didn't think it would work but was board waitng for you guys to log back in so the cannons could kill yeah gave me something to do...and it all doesn't realy matter now that you guys are out...Good Game SG. Megacorping,T-ediring or not.
The SS convo SG came form someone in your corp that disagrees with you. and the only thing I got was that convo about giveing the other corp the info on where my corp was. didn't have info on the rest of the stuff.

I saw Sam's post about fair play and just about fell out of my chair.
There's no such thing as fair play!
This isn't FIFA- you can't kick the ball out of bounds when there's an injured player!
You don't ICQ your opponent and ask them if now is a good time to invade!
If you want "fair play" don't use scripts.
Of course, you'll be the only idiot there who doesn't...
As for ethics- it is unethical to steal someone's password and log in as them, but if you can get information any other way, why not?

funny the bounty hunter told me he gave it to mind dagger for scripting purposes to improve the "MoM" bot they are working on...Now your telling me it was because of an ethics issue??

I'm not going to go thrugh this thing all over again for anyone. It's over and DONE. Everyone needs to get over it and move on.
There was NO MEGA CORPING in this game. I'm sure everyone one can sit here and debate ths all day. Blowing Ports. Who cares, is part of the game regardless of intent. Information sharing. You can't stop it. But at no time did 2 corps "team up". Mega Corp = 2 corps acting as one. That never happen here as every corp attempted to invade the others when the possibility presented itself.

Thats true....but thats not the question i asked you. Either you had an "ethics" problem and thats why you showed that cap to Mind Dagger OR As you stated to me and the corp you showed him the file to improve your "MoM" bot....
Its not a hard Question nor one that you should hesitate to answer. So if you would..Which is it?? What you told me and the corp?? or some other reason?
