Okay great, so set a date when the votes are closed and then we can move to the next stage.

/sigh/ i agree with cerne set a date to end the votes. I would say Saturday or Sunday is plenty of time, if they cry about not getting a vote then they can just not play.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the voting. Then shalt thou count to four, no more, no less. Four shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, neither count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Six is right out. Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then gather thou thy Holy Corp of Antioch and play against thy foes, who, being naughty in my sight, shall suck it."

Well if it's a byoc, putting a corpie on another team... means that corpie is prolly going to drop out. So what's the point?

We kept voting open for two weeks last time, so I think Friday March 30th by midnight. Then Saturday the 31st I'll tally all the votes and voters in a post that will be titled "Turn Circuit Game #2 Sign-Up & Confirmation".
On this thread we will confirm who all are playing the same way we did last time. It will be the last chance for straglers to sign-up like last time as well.

Its their perogative to drop out or not, they still have the option of playing on someone else's team.
But why would they drop out if playing the game is what is important, not whose team one is on?
If thats the attitude they have, no one would want them on their team anyway.

IMO why drag this out any longer. It seems to me that having the signup open longer would be better. I say take the stats that we have pick an edit, since i dont think there is a clear winner yet, vote for the edits everyone has picked pick it, start sign ups in the mean time, 2 week sign up, bang game.

I agree... just choose edits and what not and say this is what it is... the more time for actually grouping corpies is more important. I think you have enough data to go with right now.
I decided to join the game as well. I hope to join baits team if he isn't filled otherwise I will be a solo who needs taken in by a generous corp...
My vote is
7k sectors.
900 turns.
4 per corp.
Mbbs.
the edits Sing mentioned but making the cit times slower.

Killian wrote: Here are the votes as they tally AT THE MOMENT. I will make up a list of people who have submitted their votes later, my printout cut out people's names and the pages got outta order.
1) Sectors: A) 5k (5) B) 7.5k (1) C) 8k D) 10k (6)
2) Turns A) 600 B) 750 (2) C) 1000 (6) D) 1200 (4)
3) Corp Size A) 3 (2) B) 4 (5) C) 5 (5) D) No Preference (1)
4) Planets Per Sector: A) 3 (5) B) 4 (2) C) 5 (3) D) No Preference (1)
5) Turn Bank: A) 2 days (8.) B) 3 Days C) 4 Days D) None (4)
6) MBBS (10) Non-MBBS No Preference (1) 7) Photons: A) 1 second (2) B) 2 seconds (9) C) 3 seconds D) No Photons, they scare me. (1)
8.) Death Limit A) Yes (5) How Many: 5, 5, 4, 5, 4-8, 10 B) No (4) C) No Preference (1) 9) Suggested Edits or Edit-Type Preference: Alienbase: Call to Battle Desert Sands Asteroid FTW KI Moo Ck-Edits: Killer Instict or epoch Pirates Random Suggestions: Good Red ships, Fast Cit Times, Invisible “online” list,
10) Corporation Affiliation: There are 3 people with no corp affiliations who have voted. There are 4 people that say they are BYOC. One problem: When I asked for affiliation, I meant what CORP are you with and whether or not you’re going to bring other people. In which case, those other people need to also come to EIS and vote and also indicate what corp they are from so that I can start making lists of people who are IN corps, what corps they are in, and who is on what time, and also make a list of people who need to be randomly assigned a corp.
Also, not everyone indicated whether or not they were a solo player or a corp player. That is very important to know because if you don’t indicate that you’re not on a corp, I will assume that you ARE on one and you won’t get on the list for people who need to be corped up.
Other Suggestions, Comments, or Requests:
Time Limit – 1 votes No time limit – 3 votes
laff just went back and saw the actual choices ..
ok i will go with 7.5k sects, 1k turns, Mbbs, 4man corps,
couldnt care less about the rest.. just choose and lets have another good game.

Didn't I already explain that in a previous post? How sometimes the funnest part is the team's dynamic...?

Killian wrote: 1) Sectors: B) 7.5k 2) Turns A) 600 B) 750 either of these please, i'd like to see a really low turn game for once not just the standard 1000 or 1500.
3) Corp Size A) 3 small team sizes = more teams = more difficulties gridding competition wise
4) Planets Per Sector: A) 3 B) 4 C) 5 Any of these are fine by me
5) Turn Bank: D) None Make players play there turns and not just bank for days, you gotta play em or lose em [tho this setting will never win a majority so i'm wasting my time]
6) MBBS Non-MBBS No Preference
Either is fine, tho i'm sure the majority will say mbbs
7) Photons: A) 1 second Fight your ping for that torp/enter/land
8.) Death Limit A) Yes How Many: 5 deaths 9) Suggested Edits or Edit-Type Preference: I agree with SG , for once in a big game like this turn off who's in the game. It'll make things a LOT more interesting and its never been done.
10) Corporation Affiliation:
I prefer Random Dispertion cause it lets you get to know other players and learn from each other.
Other Suggestions, Comments, or Requests: NO PIRATES NO SUBZERO Lets try something different like LOTR or star wars [turns edit] , but then again these edits probably aren't fast enuff for everyone. IF nothing else go with revstock i spose

You know maybe I'm missing something but it seems like your tryin to make everyone happy with this voteing for settings thing but thats not going to work because as you can see peeps want difrent things but I guess your going to go with the majority for the settings wich for me is fine I'll play what ever just want a good game. so like Kane said why not pick a edit go on the info you have from the "votes" ans make a post for what the edit/settings are going to be now and lets get foucused on what the teams are and who needs a team. What the date is going to be for this.
