Is it OK to start a flamewar? If so may I throw the first match?
If not then can I apply the gasoline?
I have recently been playing with a couple of regular corpies and a couple of new corpmates. I supplied some grid and support but left the invasions to the new corpies. I got more satisfaction out of watching them invade opponents than I usually get from doing it myself. Am I getting senile where I am getting more pleasure watching someone else to what I used to enjoy doing? (PLEASE lets keep our minds out of the gutter.)
Don't get me wrong I enjoy invasions and all but the other night when I watched 2 new corpies doing it; I got a weird feeling that is kinda like watching a student finally see what you have been trying to teach em and doing a better job of it than you yourself could have done.
I guess I felt a sense of pride that I helped someone, and that night that feeling made me feel very good, better than if I had been doing the invasion.
Well Thanks for reading the ramblings of a senile TW player.

snickers?
ya, when you invest time into someone teaching them things, and they turn around and show you what they've learned, it's a good feeling.

When I'm watchin' my TV And that man comes on to tell me How white my shirts can be But he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke The same cigarrettes as me I can't get no, oh no no no Hey hey hey, that's what I say
Laff, you gotta be kidding, right? This is a game? If yer not having fun, you're wasting your time!!
It's a strategy game!! So much fun to match your gameplay against another human, instead of an alien or one of 'Blizzard's' AI opponents.
You wanna know what to look for? When your opponent does something dumb, and you recognize it, that, for me, is satisfying.
When a situation comes up that you've seen before, and you don't do the thing that didn't work last time.. and the new thing works; that's satisfying.
If you are having a hard time getting satisfaction out of this game..maybe you are playing either with or against the wrong peeps.. Change things up!!

Chill out Kane,
He wasn't trying to start anything, he was being ironic.
The bullet could be for anyone, I should know, I work in System Administration and tech support!
I wish I had that bullet many times, for me, or for the other person. At times, it really doesn't matter who...

Looks like I see a DM challenge coming out of that statement - that is if Oz should read it.

well, it should be closed off to public (hence my going around of the word filters, figured if because of the admin's screw up, their own rules get broke, maybe they'll fix the forum so the public doesn't have to see what a horribly filthy mouth i have, ha)
