1:1 ore, org, equip, figs, 500k colos per, 10m storage of all, 0-0-0-0 upgrades from 0-6, starts with full stock of everything, can hold 65k shields.
umm, can't get much more favorite than that

The better the fig production the slower the cit times. imho
and maybe something similar to an ocean planet in stock but EQ production instead of Org maybe max at lvl 4. and no more than 1 million ore per corpy...4 man corp then 3 or 4 million max.

well galon, i didn't want to dishearten you with an honest answer.
It depends on the edits.
There is no magic "best planet".
There are only planets which are well balanced.

Not best planet slim just a planet you would like to own that would be in an edit you have played besides the obvious 1:1 and max everything. Think of things as a point cost and build a planet with 100 point or something say start with earth type at 50 point and equip from 13 to 12 would be 5 points or something like that organic would be a 3 to drop and figther upgrade would be 6 or 8 point per point of upgrade something like that. Just a question as to what your design would be if you could build a planet when you shoot a torp.

As I said, it depends on the edit. Depends on turns, ships, colos on terra, etc..

The planet should be balanced against the ship edits and terra cols if you are creating an edit. Also the max planets you have in a sector and the max players on a corp that can be expected to moth play a part.
Provide the ship edits, corp size, and planet edits and people may be able to give an answer.

My favorite was a planet we had in my old game called the Vaporus Gasios Planet. 100:1 Fuel, 100:1 Org, 1:1 EQP, 1:1 Fighters,
Optimal level of 100k colos in eqp.
Cit. Times increated per cit level, ( Like 3 days to 4 days to 5 fays ect ect. ) Was a nice planet for EQ development.
Edit: And yes I know that would be a crap planet to people who play nowadays but the game I saw this planet in was for roleplay and development, not high powered invasions and winning the game ^.^ It was THE best Fighter and EQ producing planet in the game.

I like planets with massive storage for equipment, moderate for org's, and enough ore to warp around a bit without having to stop for gas , fast to lvl 4 and then medium build times to lvl 6. Anotherwords, a good MBBS planet

25,000 Colos in Fuel ( Producing 25k Fuel a day ) 500k Fuel Storage
150,000 Colos in Org. ( Producing 150k a day ) 10 Million Organic Storage
25,000 colos in equip. ( Producing 25k a day ) 500k Equip Storage
40k Fighters Produced a day ( 5 Million Fighter capacity )
Cit level only reaches planitary thrusters but it makes a wonderful planet.

I think the planets should be left alone. Then again, I prefer games with the ships left alone as well. Yes, leave the Cargotran in there, maybe I want one.
A level 6 Glacial is one intimidating monster...
