 TWXSync server hosting.

OK I messed up and paid my hard earned money for TWXSync and am unable to easily allow outside connections to my IP address.

I would like someone else to host a TWXSync server that has 5 games "reserved" for me and my corpies. In return I would allow the hoster to also use it as you are the only one (from what I can see) that can set up new games.

I realize that this is on the unethical side of the "piracy" question but I would like to assure earth that only 1 copy of TWXSync will be using my reg codes.

And further earth/ElderProphet would you like to help out another Tradewarrior in seeing if there could be a way to hack something together so that TWXProxy could also use the data. I had idea but it involves another program that would interface with TWXSync and TWXProxy and take what ever TWXSync outputs and converts it to what TWXProxy can understand and vice versa.

ElderProphet unfortunately I am more proficient at C# or C/C++ than Delphi and am having difficulties with the time it takes to understand the Delphi codebase.

Well sorry for that sidetrack now back to the original question is anyone available to host a TWXSync server that is reliable and (no offense VidKid) in the "lower 48" ?

From what I understand the xml data exchanged is fairly efficient and would not interfere/degrade other online services.

Any/All offers will be seriously considered.

Maniac get with me, I already have a TWXSync server on my main server, you can use it if needed. I will check with earth to see if there is a way to host multiple TWXSync servers on a single server. This may open up some new possibilities for me, heh. Being a TWXSync server host.
Hmmm........ I like the sound of that.

Technically, you can host multiple servers and just set them to different ports.

I"ve been told this doesn't (or didn't) work with swath. Any feedback on this? I was told it would corrupt swath's database. Has this been fixed, or was it an issue. I ran a test game with someone. I'd not explored anything, he had better than 99% explored. I was able to see most of his sector info on my map with no ztm, but it wasn't complete.

My answer was for TWXSync. Install it into 2 locations on two different ports.
