Okay I will chime in on this: OMOTW, this isn't the Smack Talk threads, and if any posts that are didrespective to players, sysops, or mods are in this or anyother place outside of Smack Talk, they will be concidered inappropriate and subject to deletion, banning or other actions as seen fit by the mods or admins of the forums. Smack Talk is the only relative safe place for such posts, and only when they aren't getting personal, SG has domain of the Smack Talk threads, and control of those are left to him. However I and the other admins, have domain of it all, but I choose to let the appropriate mods police their areas as they can, and do not interfere unless I have to.

Boinc is a multi computer program. There's different programs that use the BOINC software to crunch numbers.
Seti is crunching numbers and checking radio signals. Its basically distributed computer processing spread out over the globe. Sure, 1 computer may not be a super computer, but you get 500k of them..and yea. The results can be mighty impressive. _________________ Life goes on. Get Over it. |
