I had one question that I needed answering before I made my decision to sign up.

I asked if the random generator was going to be used to pick corps. The only reply I got from anyone was that it had already been decided to use it.

Once I had that information, I signed up. So, if you change it, where does it leave me? I can decide to play or change my mind based on the fact that it was changed.

My question to all of you is: do you want to make some concrete decisions so people can decide whether they want to sign up or do you want to have last minute withdrawals or no-shows because you changed the game?

Please, someone be in charge, make some decisions and let's get on with the game.

As a matter of fact, instead of the reverend having to explain all the edits, I'm going to open a preview game up in the game (A) spot until the day before the game day for people to see the edits.

One could do that but who would want to step on some peoples egos? I mean really what if the number 5 player is really a 7. Besides who want to take that on, telling people how good they are.

Good question, I think we should have 2-3 days to prep with the corp. I understand the random corp gen will only work in game with every one. so any way to make the test game a pw game and have every who IS playing join and the create the corps?

Big D has stated the game that he is so graciously banging for us for THE FIRST ROUND of the turns based game SERIES. This is the game we are playing. See how it says what the settings are, including that it is a 4-man corp game with randomly generated corps and a freakin' 12 hour time limit.

For those of you who were whining about the voting of the BYOC/Not-BYOC, if you notice, there never was a spot to vote for it, it has been a STATEMENT since the BEGINNING that the corps would be randomly generated for THIS GAME because the point of it is not to please everyone, but to get a game that is a close enough COMPROMISE to what everyone wants and get people together who might not have played together before. This is NOT a place for BYOC by its very nature.

Maybe for the SECOND ROUND we will have BYOC, no time limit, or whatever other thing you guys wanna do, but this game is to bring everyone together, the SECOND game is where we will add variety.

There is really no need for all the sniping that is going on. And there really shouldn't be much up for debate on this one, except who is in and who is out.

So yes, there is probably a setting here or a setting there that you disagree with, thats expected, no game is perfect. There is a setting or two here that I don't think is perfect, but thats not enough to stop me from recognizing that this game is probably going to be the most fun that I've had in a game for a while simply because of the fact that there are going to be PEOPLE there. And if everyone lets a setting or two stop them from playing this game, then no one will show, and it will just be some other turn game that no one is in.

Is that what you guys really want? For even a game that people were interested in to fail? Then you might as well just kiss TW in general goodbye if we can't get the most interested players to colaborate on ONE SIMPLE GAME.

I have faith in you guys to overcome your differences for the sake of a good game. I know those of you who have been on the bandwagon the whole time will be there, and I hope some of you guys who think that the time limit is ridiculous or that non-BYOC is lame will be there, ready to play their turns in 12 hours or less for their assigned corp anyway.

Now... I have only two questions:

Who is in?
And who besides me is excited about this game, y'all?!?

Yes, I believe the randomizer does need everyone in the game to assign corps. I'm not exactly sure how this needs to be done tho.  Maybe someone can bang a game somewhere just to get this done and have everyone show up, or maybe someone can put the names in a hat or whatever.   Really doesn't matter to me, I think someone should do it that does knows how this randomizer works though. I'd really rather not handle this part of it.
