I think thats an error trying to bind to port 23 or where ever you have your TWGS set for players. Are you running another telnet or Rlogin app? check the port.

What usually causes this error also is the built in telnet server in windows, it is a service, all you have to do is stop it and the twgs will work on port 23, unless you have a TWX Proxy setup to listen on port 23 then it will cause this issue as well. Do what Darkstar suggests and what I suggest and you should have no problems with the twgs.

Have you checked to see if you get any outside connections on it yet?

You can go to vaders place at:
http://www.blacksuntwgs.com/
You can get some good edits there to use and try, basically the players have all sorts of styles of games they like, some like 20K sector unlimited turn games, some like 5K sector 1K turns and so forth, the amount of turns and universe size differ from player to player, but have a selection for all will help out, have low sector low turn games, medium sector, mid turn games, high sector high turn games, low sector mid turn games and so forth, and some 20 K sector games with low, medium, high, and unlimited turns games. Basically give at least one game type for each variety if possible, or choose to have certain games and stick to it. It is your choice, and get player input on the games to taylor them better.

I hope that helps.
