Personally, I like Vulcan’s idea the best, except I would take it back old school to the Greek/Roman/Athens chariot days, with the Helo idea, by dragging him all throughout the town square via Helo and 100 foot synthetic heavy line connected to him by way of only a full heavy Kevlar canvas covered body harness (and oh yea no other clothing on, whatsoever), bouncing him off all the building’s like a ping pong ball, and then when it looks just as if he can’t possibly take anymore, I would have ground support change the rigging to a noose on him, clear the immediate area of innocent spectators (you know for safety, after all we don’t need anybody else getting hurt from this guy, now do we!) and then have the pilot do a hard vertical lift for about 250 feet, (perhaps just a little more, would have to decide that as it is actually occurring); and just to keep the Humane Society types quiet I would deem this as an experiment to verify at exactly which altitude of lift does it take to actually pop off a human head and pull out the persons full spinal cord, thus to assist in advancing further air travel for the better of all humankind, globally. Then I would permit the Helo to fly all over the Country with his “load” or “cargo” will call it you know to be politically correct and all, I would even use a CH53 Sea Stallion so the pilot could just do a mid air refueling which I would be more then happy to authorize, to keep the operation running smoothly and timely.

And we call us "moral"?
I am sorry but what Rexx just said sounds like torture to me.

Should Sadaam Die? Well the kangaroo court that we set up said yes.
Have we heard Sadaam's side? (Left to the reader)

Was Sadaam's actions any different from Shermans march through Atlanta during a civil war?

Who's laws was he judged upon? Iraqi, US, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Non-Denominational?

I look at my hands and feet and see no nail holes. Shouldn't we let our higher power judge him?

Now someone might think that I am an apologist for evil dictatorships the world over but please define something for me. What is evil? Is it evil for a supreme being to make everyone happy when I dislike happiness? Is it evil for two people fall in love and procreate when I like to be unhappy and alone? Is it evil for a supreme being to try and tempt someone to do their bidding when your philophosy decrees you to be opposed to it?

Maniac:

Uh, it wasn't our government that tried him.
The Iraqi government found him guilty and they're the ones who will execute him.
What is evil? You tell me. Is it OK if I come into your house, steal your belongings, violate your women, and execute you- all because I can?
Why are complaining about torture? Is it 'evil'? LOL
You can't have it both ways. Either we live by a code of laws inspired by the prophets (whether or not you believe in the makes no difference) or we live by the law of the jungle. Kill or be killed. So either there is evil and it needs to be punished (Saddam executed), or there is no evil and we live by the law of the jungle and as victors we can kill him without any qualms.

Either way he's a dead man.
Either way you're an idiot.

Remember this does not fall under the pretenses of torture because we being the smart government that are, had previously and openly declared this otherwise indecent act as being an experiment for the future progression of safer air travel, so we end up sacrificing one not so innocent life for the benefit of the living. Now for myself I can live with that, can you?

There is 1 thing that does suck about this though.
If we can go in an get him and put him on trial, what is stopping the people of Iraq from grabbing Bush and putting him on trial?

Something to think about.

BTW death to Hussain

True, but this is the way it has always been with war that has an actual win/lose outcome. The winners try the losers for war crimes while the winning commanders/soldiers are hailed as heroes.

Perspective is everything.

As for perspective, the winners have a more accurate one than the losers, otherwise they wouldn't have won.
As time passes, perspectives change- but the choices made were made from a better perspective.
Everyone can second guess them, but a signature on the USS Missouri was proof enough that Truman made the right decision.
Just one example of many.
