Anybody have, or know where I can find a script for twx that will max upgrade ports as it finds them. I want to upgrade all the ports in a bubble, but don't know of any scipts, and it will take a while manually!

Caretaker AKA Vidkid has something called a _Vid_UpPortRunner.cts
In a TXT file you put in the sec ports you want uped, and
it goes to each port and do for EXP or non EXP, and I think
the amount to up port to. But you have to ask him, I cant
give it out.

called up port, but you have to move to the port then run the script
there are alot of good scropts posted there

Amimal Did you read the Decription at grimys?
it said same as upport_runner, but have to move to port.

He want to up all ports in a bubble.
if he gets a list of all the ports in that bubble,
upport_runner will hit them all at one time quick.

Well it seems you didn't read my reply to him! I said with that script at Grimys he would have to move to the ports and run it since upport_runner it seems is a private script, he might have to use what he can get.
I had a couple of scripts that would do that, but i wiped all my tradewars stuff off my hard drive a few months ago when i built my new system. All i have left is twgs and reg codes and i plan on doing a server soon, have been working on several game edits.
Tradewars is just not fun like it used to be, and for me there is no reason to play anymore

It would seem that one of you scripters could write a quick script that reads a text file or you can input what ports you want upped.
That would be an easy script depending on the moving methot(planet, warp, twarp)

Id help out but i havnt made one yet.. and Im not that good it takes me quite awhile to make a script through trial and error (Read I cant write flexable script on the run yet)

I did read, and the point was to up ports auto or mass, not one
at a time by hand. and im sure if RP asked for the script, Caretaker
would prob give it to him. plus its easy to make a macro to up port
I do it all the time! When I need a port uped and dont want EXP,
a macro works great! you could use Caretakers Looper to do same!

Over and over... 1092 times for an MBBS game, 2184 for a gold. If you go over, no problem. It'll just flood a bit on the screen, won't send you warping. Make sure ya got the cash on hand first, obviously.

Edit: Fixed orgs, laff.

I think sing did a typo in Orgs:o z 2 3 * *
But nice way to do it, I do a little diff but same thing.

np. I didn't miss the point i just forgot the people that play now have to have everything done for them because it is too much trouble to do it themselves

Write it yourself, or vote Democrat 11/07/06 and use the police power of the government to force someone else to write it for you.

I would write it if I played lol.
